Are the surrounding of a building usually turbulent? Do you like to fly closed proximity with a building in turbulent conditions?
-
Because that is a simple and organized way that even a monkey can understand. Well, I won't take that personnally
-
You know that is not the orthodox method.

Is buildarig.com gone?
-
Simple: give a camera to someone in order to make pictures about your landing.
-
Lots of trouble. I'd rather check for what cameras do helmet mfgs making boxes....

Nice work! Well done!

It sounds like a really bad idea. Have you asked at least permission from the owner of the demo canopy? If you want to try a reserve, than demo a reserve. PD reserves fly great anyway. Why do you rush it? You might have it anyway if you jump long enough.

Neptune can handle water much better if its still in a good care. I've seen funny readings speed/ff time on Neptune, but its still my choice.

I had similar feelings by flying a Magic (by PdF) reserve. I had to use half breaks to keep it flying strait. It was big and landing was not so hard at all.
-
Why would that help a student? All you expect from a student is a long final into the wind. They can learn other type of landings later.

I think roasted sunflower or pumpkin seeds are more authentic.

Any feedback for a WS use? Thanks! I use as a visual altimeter. It's working fine. I got some strange speeds logged time 2 time and faulty freefall time once. If you want to get logs and profile out your choice is Neptune, AFAIK Viso has no connection available.

I had a night jump in February when temperature on exit was -27C. I had no problem with Neptune and it has even backlight.

The "45 degree rule" for exit separation DOES NOT WORK
phoenixlpr replied to kallend's topic in Safety and Training
How about starting a new thread with a title:"Working method for separation?". Even the name of this should die. -
There is a question what do you want to use for.
-
I would not call it froze up, they worked as they were designed. Older design considers unexpected pressure change as internal malfunction which requires check by the manufacturer.

Surprise, surprise the very same application is associated for both extensions.... You are right, you can give any extension you want as long it is played by the same application.
-
Why do you think that would make any difference? I'm not the beleiver or vindoz magic . As it was told before VOB is mpeg.
-
What makes it more simple? I use just a slider lock. If I lock it right it does come up anymore and its not in the way anymore.
-
This is not the Classifieds... ....how about using that?
-
I did mean push the nose inside, tail wards. AKAIK slider has most influence on the speed of the opening.
-
I'd rather pack how it was recommended: nose pushed back, slider pulled over, tail rolled tightly.
-
yes, I know that's supposed to be the case. And it was with my 2 previous ones. But this one wnats to be difficult. Have you checked the line trim? Have you compared the length of the respective lines?
