I can not see any reason why not. I jump Vector2 and Javelin with wing suit without modifications, just a longer bridle.
-
Thanks. You are right, it can be critical.

Anyone with Triathlon 7cell 190-210ish?
phoenixlpr replied to npgraphicdesign's topic in Gear and Rigging
First step is locating them, than organizing them. You don't count them explicitly. You count them along the tunnels.... Lines are not seprated, that's just a hint where to find them. -

I've thought zillions of student packing. X + 1 just give them more information where to locate the "missing" line on flaking. BTW, A lines are the and not to be counted. So they suppose to find X pcs lines in the "middle" and 1 on the side. -

It the only one. There is no Triathlon 5,9,11 cell.... Try to search this forum for that... -
The exact way how it is written in their manual. Packing a reserve is a bit different than packing a sport main.

I used to use split D-bag too. It did not really helped in backing. It did open when I did not wanted to.
-
Sure and it takes a $5 to get a lower brake lines replaced....
-
Or it can be one more reason not to have them for BASE either. I don't need the, I could not ever fly faster than 180 Km/h.
-
You don't need it, if you don't jump BASE. So, that why do you need it with BASE?
-
Yes, get them. No. They are just waiting for break.....
-
Both. You can have a snag during climbout or improper spandex and you PC can find the way out by itself.

That is a different discussion. Here in europe tandems are sold as thrilrides making the person in front a passenger. Here is Finland, Europe every tandem passenger is a student. It a part of the student training.

How many jumps to get current enough for a wingsuit?
phoenixlpr replied to skittles_of_SDC's topic in Wing Suit Flying
Well, if you don't have balls for WS, than get a tracking suit. I've seen data that kick ass trackers can have better glide than lousy birds. That could make you a better flier. -
Well, try Python, so no webserver needed anymore.

Proposition - new tech spec for reserves
phoenixlpr replied to MartinOlsson's topic in Gear and Rigging
I'm actually not that interested in absolutes. What I'm aiming at is how different brand reserves could compare in terms of speed in a braked setting. Hypothetically a 113 reserve could be better in a no input situation than a 143, if it has a much deeper brake setting than the 143. It could be interesting to know if the big reserve I'm buying actually is faster in a braked setting than a smaller one of a different model. /Martin How about the rate of descent? My guess is 143 would have a flatter glide, so shallower angle of attack on impact on same WL. -
Does anyone know the sites of the flights? I'm not planing to go there just curoius. thanks
