Are you kidding??? Id jump with that thing rather than them newfangled contraptions they got nowadays anyday. ...bounce...dont make em like they used to

I didnt actually think you were going to respond by saying "no, I dont have a boyfriend, wanna be my boyfriend??", sounds real nice, but very unlikely. If it were that simple, and me being as much of a jerk as you probably know I am, Id be in trouble with about 50 women every day of my life.
-
Baby, I aint the stripper type, Im the "know how to satisfy a woman" type, cause I know what women like. Thats what I know how to do. See, a girl has the right to an ego, she aint interested in looking at a guy who is too into himself, she wants to be worshipped, and not many guys have the right touch.
-
Laugh? Oh baby, youre a cute one!!!! Got a boyfriend???

Im just being asinine, I look a lot younger than I really am and in better shape than I think I am. I have high expectations for myself, and for what I want to do, those expectations are pretty realistic. Right now at 165 lbs and 19% body fat and Im pissed, need no more than 16-17% body fat to be in athletic shape, and I dont do steroids. All these guys at LA Fitness with big bumpy arms, man you know theyre on steroids, I decline press 270, bench 200, curl 120, swim 8 laps per day with power gloves, play racketball, climb Squaw twice every weekend and I still dont look like that. Pfffff!!!

THey were out there but they all had telephones with cords and no internet... Or, as in the case with this one...they werent born yet! The reality of it is, when I was young and good looking, I was in the frickin' Army, in DPG, Utah way the hell away from everything, then after that broke and in college, and after that this horrible thing called age happened. There were good looking chicks in the world, I just wasnt close enough or rich enough. Now that Im close enough and rich enough, Im too ugly! Life sure has its sick sense of humor.
-
Id actually go there and do anything you want for free, if I werent such an ugly M.F. You should have known me about 20 years ago when I was good looking. Man your timing sure is off!!! Where were all the chicks like this back then??? Damnit. Wasted years.

Ignore everything you saw in Cutaway. I picked up a legit copy for less than the cost of a blank tape. That suggests the movie itself has negative value. Replying to the last two: Maybe so, its a movie and I wouldnt take it for its face value, but, can you dive out like they were doing? Bungie style. -
All I can remember about "the bottom dropped out" is the last time I rode a rollercoaster, when I was 23. Right now, Id say its a complete mystery how Id take it. But what youre saying is its not as intense as a rollercoaster? Im kind of wondering how long it lasts, ie from a balloon. From a helicopter, well youre acutally being pushed down in addition to falling. I wouldnt scream cause Im a guy, maybe yell. Then say "fuuuuuuckk!!!!"

well HE cant...since he hasnt found the balls to hop out of the plane with a parachute on his back yet... Guess what? I can find a thousand people a day that dont have the balls to jump a first tandem. Or hang on a wing strut. So exactly what is your point? That anyone who doesnt want to skydive is a coward? I think that is what youre trying to say. Whatever the case is, Im not trying to "prove" anything by jumping, other than getting into an arial sport to some extent and getting the thrill of it. I dont need to jump out of airplanes to prove Im a man cause Im already secure enough in that area, so Ill leave the "macho" shit to you since you seem to be doing it for that purpose. Good luck.

Totally fucking amazing!!! This is cool, now you got me going. The objective in 10-way speed is to complete a formation in the minimum time, where all the skydivers start behind a line drawn on the floor of the plane. So this is like a speed star. How long does it take you to learn that? Diving down to the base and breaking on time, without smashing into someone, seems pretty difficult. Okay, heres what turns me on. In the movie Cutaway, the way the divers exit the skyvan. They go out initially in "bungie jumping position", that is, out head first, arms forward, then they are almost on thier back for a second, then go forward into tracking position. Thats what I wanna do! How hard is that? Ill fucking do it too, cause when it really gets down to it, I dont give a shit, and Ill do it. After a lot more training ofcourse, right now Im just talking. I know if I tried that now Id go tumbling all over the place. Not that I want to do a speed star, that I think takes daily practice, ect., I just want to learn how to exit like that. I saw that and the other two pics, didnt know you could be held up in the prop blast like that. Is it pretty difficult to maintain that position? so head is higher than feet, hands by side, chest cupped, legs straight Nope, dont think I could get that position, just tried it & my back didnt appreciate it. -

This guys got me burning up, but Ill follow the rules and say no more. Its obviously something that needs to be dealt with in the ocean and not on a skydiving forum. -

Not necessarily true. I have video showing me at or above the level of the door for at least a second, surfing the "prop blast" aka relative wind out to the wingtip of an Otter, during an exit as 1st floater on a 10-way speed exit. Count me out! Thats really crazy. How did you do that, Id like to hear the details. Not that I dont believe you, just wondering how you did that. NoShitThereIwas: I recommend you read the Body Pilot book written by Carl Nelson. He makes several references to the prop blast and exit transition. Maybe after reading it you will understand. Ill check it out. -
Oh, he's SO worth it! But, I don't think I'll be able to get any more vacation time this year to come to Eloy to get my date. Great. So this means Id have to go all the way out to Florida to stalk you? Ill have to bring this up to the management, its not fair we get: Vacation leave Sick leave Holliday leave but no Stalk leave

"Manhatten-it was great to see nice tall buildings again instead of fields of nothing" I think you got it backwards....

Kung Fu (Kenpo style), full contact, when I was 17 and my reflexes were damn fast, not any more. You dont need marial arts to fight, just plenty of testosterone and a little stragegy (ie - push him to get him off balance, then bam!!!, and feel the rush...)
-
Anyone who has done this before, do you feel an intense "falling rush"? ie how does this compare to going down in a roller coaster? More/ less intense?

Youre right, I did say "Why do you keep bringing up "prop blast?", she was quoting that from a reference. Its more than a bit funky, if you were in the prop blast for too long youd probably be hit by the tail which is why the plane slows down, ie Ive heard a few times about when pilots eject out of a fighter jet still strapped to the seat they sometimes hit the tail, not enough time to slow down. -

Stylin, Or whatever you go by now. Do you have any idea WTF you are talking about? Dude, when you get more than your 10 tandems you will understand. BTW, didn't see you in the surf line up today. Give the chick a break and try to listen and learn. She may be your AFF instuctor one day as could I. I wasnt trying to be rude, but, those are the facts, you are way under the prop blast the second you jump out, no matter what your jump number is. I can quote the same thing from the Skydivers Handbook, if I am in the prop blast as the paper says, then please explain to me why I am looking up at the plane every time I have jumped??? The prop blast goes horizontal to the direction of the plane, if you are under the plane, then how can you be in the prop blast??? Now, would you say I have an idea of WTF Im talking about? If not, then you are welcome to prove me wrong. All I was doing was pointing that out. Now, about the surf line up. Didnt see me in the surf line up huh? Well, you will in a couple of weeks, so maybe Ill see you out at Turmo with your "longboard". Course I may not see you since youll probably be spending most of your time "under" the breaks. If youre going to practice skydiving manuevers, try doing that in the air and not under the water, dude. -
Well when i went through training, i did SL. I was fine during class until they got to the part where they told us we had to climb out of the plane and hang on the strut. I'm like, i can jump out, but i don't know about this hanging thing. I got a picture of me on my first ever SL jump hanging on the strut and i have the biggest smile on my face. On the ground, I started whining about "no I cant do that, no way, you gotta be kidding...", so they say why not, and Im like "climb out on the f**king wiing strut are you crazy???" So I had to ask, "what happens if I climb out and something happens, and I slip and fall?" So they say, "well, you were going to fall anyway..." I wish I would have gotten a pic of that. Id do it again, just not a poised exit (hanging exit), and not S/L

Why do you keep bringing up "prop blast"? The second you exit youre already way below the plane, so youre not in the prop blast. The relative wind that keeps you vertical is because youre going 100 mph when you exit, then you slow down to a point where you roll in facing the ground, then accelerate to terminal. That doesnt happen slowly it happens right away, because I can feel the immediate drop when rolling in face down. -
Im surprised that whole incident didnt start a fight between you and him.
-
That's part of why i love cessnas so much. Hanging on the strut is awesome!! No shit!!! Scared the crap out of me before going out, but when I was out on the strut, oh shit that was cool, you look down and what a view. I gotta get a picture of that sometime. And by the way...nice pic! My first tandem out of a Cessna we just jumped from the step, never heard of exiting a tandem like that. Now I have!
