    Was Martha Huddleston from Dallas? I went to high school with a Martha Huddleston and she would be right around that era. I looked in the on line yearbook for my school but she doesn't show up in the senior (citizen) class. I'll investigate further. The older I get the less I care who I piss off.

    I still have a "screened" blast handle. Threw of a bunch of old equipment away in a dumpster about five years ago, Paradactyl, Light Cloud, Guardian Piggyback, Thunderbolt jumpsuit, a set of three Bev jumpsuits, etc. but just couldn't part with the blast handle.

    Doing a paid (very well paid) solo demo into a church sponsored summer camp as "The Terminator" for an outdoor skit. Part of the Terminator costume was a Uzi replica water pistol which was quite authentic looking. During climbing out on the step of the 182, the Uzi just flew apart in the wind and I was left "defensless" so to speak. I landed in front of about 400 people who were somewhat bewildered by my weaponry of a hook knife and a thumb and forefinger gun. I heard one kid yell "Is this dumb, or what". The older I get the less I care who I piss off.

    GAWDALLMIGHTY!!!! Give me the luxury of busting my ass at a job everyday rather than have to stay at home and referee three boys 24/7. The older I get the less I care who I piss off.

    Had one God awful day yesterday but for no particular reason. Today, everything was alright 'til I found out the licence plate on my motorcycle isn't the one that should be on there, damed theives. The older I get the less I care who I piss off.

    Was there, just over the border and back, while visiting Milan in the spring. I want to go back for a more extended stay. The company I work for in the US is a Swiss company with headquarters in Basel. The older I get the less I care who I piss off.

    Don't do it!!!!!! I made some jumps with a sinus infection and got so blocked that the doc was considering drilling through the roof of my mouth to releive the pressure. This is, no shit, nothing to mess around with. The older I get the less I care who I piss off.

    Yep, bummer. Tom must've hit a gas well or two on that property. Hell of a lot more money in pumping gas outta the ground than passing gas in a plane. The older I get the less I care who I piss off.

    I did a tandem with a lady that was 3'4" on a Strong system and it adjusted OK. It was like jumping with a large belly wart. The older I get the less I care who I piss off.

    If I understand correctly, this was a tandem certification course involving experienced skydivers and I am only refering to that particular case. Tnis could have been a case of candidates trying to get their last certification jump or two in before the weather went to Hell and the course suspended which would require some to travel great distances to return at another time to complete. Not that makes it any safer but those guys do have the choice to jump or not. Having been a tandem examiner for eight years, two or three of the courses I ran had some adverse weather or time constraint situation occur that made it necessary to let the candidates make a personal decision as to what their limits were. Some continued, some didn't but it was their choice with my approval. The older I get the less I care who I piss off.

    I wonder if they just demolished it or dismantled it and moved it somewhere for further use? It was a rather substantial building that would still have many uses. For instance, the facility that is currently Skydive Dallas was originally the maintenance and storage hangar at Dallas North Airpark. When that airport closed, we bought it, had it dismantled and moved it truck load by truck load to it's current location where it was reassembled. The older I get the less I care who I piss off.

    Yeah, I was gettin' fairly good on my Pap until it blew up and I got my first reserve ride. I got my first square after that, a Standard Cloud. The older I get the less I care who I piss off.

    When you rent ski or snowboard equipment you're responsible for loss or damage, period. If your equipment is stolen while you're in drinking a beer, tough, you just bought it. If you break a ski doing moguls, you now own a broken ski. Take your boots off and they disappear, it's a long cold, expensive walk in your socks back to the rental agency. When you rented the ski equipment, you completed a rental agreement and gave them your credit card as security and guess what, the charges for the lost or damaged gear go on your credit card per the agreement that you signed. Given the lack of personal responsibility of some renters these days, shouldn't this be the case for skydiving gear rental too? The older I get the less I care who I piss off.

    Good God Airtwardo, maybe it's just the angle of the picture but that landing area in the second picture looks awfully close to trailers, aircraft, trees, powerlines, lawn chars, toys, etc. not to mention that it looks rock hard. The older I get the less I care who I piss off.

    Saw a Mister Bill "landed" in a lake at water jumps. Man, even landing in water would take a set of brass ones IMHO. The older I get the less I care who I piss off.

    Hey Jon, Jeff's rig also had that Strong frapwrap cut away system. Never thought it could possibly work until I saw him cut away from a CRW wrap at Commerce TX at about 400' and his reserved opened at about 150'. Everyone on the DZ thought he was a goner for sure. Speaking of weird equipment that you wonder if it'll work, Jeff rode a BMW motorcycle, too. The older I get the less I care who I piss off.

    I'll have to find it and scan it. It was taken about 23 years ago. Woah, hold it there Russ, I saw that in person and it ain't something to unleash on the public at large. I'm sure Bill would feel much better about too it if you didn't show it. There are some things that are better left "caged up". The older I get the less I care who I piss off.
