  1. that is why I would bring beer in the morning during my AFF and then after my A license. If I did that "first thingy" everyone would look at me and ...I would say "it's already in the cooler". The day of my first malfunction 5/28 (bad day for skydiving overall) my beer was already cold and in the riggers frig. I don't find it offensive at all. It's all part of the fun . Most or all of the staff are busy from 8am to 8pm and it's nice to have a cold one once the light goes on. The ice always seems to be the problem not the beer. I am having one as I speak. be well, be safe.
  2. hats off to BB for being so diplomatic and informative.
  3. flying home from Tampa FL, I was put thru the typical stuff because I was bringing my rig on board as carry on. They literally busted my balls about my 2 hook knives until someone from the TSA (supervisor) came foward to explain that " it's not feasable nor likely that these knives could b used as a weapon" He was also a skydiver, hence told me to put them in my luggage the next time. I guess I could have used it as weapon if someones juggler was hanging out from there neck..LMAO

  16. I recently made a post about my 1st mal in the incidents forum under "lucky & stupid". Since that jump I have done only 2 since 5/27 ( the day of the mal) plus 30 days to get my canopy back from PD. So lets go with 6/27. Why do I have this apprehensive feeling. I have done just 2 jumps since 6/27. I need a major kick in the ass beacause I keep telling myself that I dealt with a malfunction (nasty one) and I fixed it before going in. So why is it still wrecking my confidence. This really sucks. Is this a normal feeling????? Help
