VanillaSkyGirl replied to Squeak's topic in The Bonfire
OMG, I've met them BOTH! I am so very flattered. You are truly the sweetest, Squeak. -
Who is the Hottest Skychick you have ever met?
VanillaSkyGirl replied to JRock's topic in The Bonfire
Oh, I have a couple of friends who know the sexy Angie E. and say that she's quite a wild one. The prettiest skychicks that I have ever met are all my Pink Mafia sisters, Skymama and Eliana from Airspeed (She looked gorgeous when we went out to dinner.) -
Yeah...that's very cool, for sure. I don't wear my closing pin necklace too much. I would definitely notice it on someone else, though. Cool.

Have a wonderful birthday, Kolla!!!!
-
That's pretty cool, Clay. It's a small world...and an even smaller skydiving community.
-
Love the pic! You are both extremely cute, Yoshi.

YEEEEEEES!!! Arthur, ice blond highlights on your hair tips would be WICKED cool! I can help you do it if you'd like.

OMG!!!! LMAO!!!!! Also, don't forget to retrieve the infamous "abortion" thread for her to read. That one was a REAL winner! -
It's funny that you say that because I accidentally went out on a "date" with a girl. She was a co-worker, and I thought that she was just asking me to try a new restaurant with her for lunch. The sad thing is that I'm completely straight, and when I realized that we had been on a date... I also realized that she had been a great date...a "perfect gentleman"! She asked me all about myself, kept her hands to herself, talked honestly and in a softer voice, drove me to and from the restaurant, opened my car doors, pulled out my chairs, complimented me, shared her food and even paid for my lunch. She was quite the chivalrous male...ugh...female. However, when she was parking the car back at our work, she asked me to be her dance partner that night. (My work was beginning "salsa" lessons as an after-work activity!) It was then that I realized that I may have been accidentally on a "date", and I told her that I was dancing with a male "worker", who was to be my partner. I then ran off ahead of her inside the building and down the hall, to ask him to be my dance partner and beg him to not leave my side. (Yes, it was like a bad "Three's Company episode!) Honestly though, she is the kind of person that was a good friend, but ONLY friends ... for me, anyway. To quote Seinfeld, "Not that there's anything wrong with it!"

You look perfect, Lew!!!

I LOVE Alli and LOVE you, too, Laurel. I'm so happy for all the DZ.commers that are in the articles. YAYAYAAYAYAAAAA!!!! Edited: I also want to say that I also so love my PMS Mel, who couldn't make it to Chick's Rock, but who is a BIG part of the Pink Mafia!!!!

ROFLMAO!!! You are too much, "Mr. Supportive"!

I always make the same mistake of buying a couple of sexy, revealing clothing items, then being too modest to wear them EVER. Edited: By "revealing", I just mean a tank top or cute bikini, but I am too damn shy to put them on in public! What is wrong with me!?!

That was not true for me. I thoroughly enjoyed mine. I had no pain, but my opening was nice/soft. It is all about good packing and pulling sub-terminal! Also, we used a large canopy, and I am only 97 lbs. I used to rockclimb, so I had to use a climbing technique to get on Sluggo's shoulders (large guy) as I am really small. I had my left hand holding the riser in front of me (his right) with my left leg bent/stepping on his thigh, and I fully extended my right leg and flagged my right arm for leverage as I high-stepped with my left leg to get my right leg around his shoulders. My Sluggo, Andy, had done at least a dozen Mr. Bills before and only half of his had been successful. It was my first, and he told me afterwards that it was his best ever. My hands froze, though, so I had to reheat them somehow before jumping off. (Wear gloves!) It was a couple of months ago in Perris. We exited at 13500 (extra altitude!). I dove off Andy at 5000 and pulled around 3500. Also, it was my 100th jump on the sunset load (awesome sunset), and I have the whole thing on video.

Video recommendations...Mine -"The Believer"
VanillaSkyGirl replied to VanillaSkyGirl's topic in The Bonfire
About two weeks ago, I rented "The Believer". I highly recommend it. "The Believer" is by writer/director Henry Bean with Ryan Gosling in the lead role. It was shot in a "gritty" way to give it the bare bones look of a documentary, not a slick, "Hollywood movie". This film was indeed inspired by the true story of a young man who was a skinhead and chose to kill himself after a reporter "outed" his Jewish past. It's an exploration into the mind of that person, now filmed as a fictional angry young neo-Nazi. Although this film won the Grand Jury prize at Sundance (2202), it could not find a distributor because it was criticized for possibly finding an audience among hate groups. In my opinion, the film in no way condones religious intolerance. It is obvious that this character is a confused, violent Jew who somehow has turned his self-hate into an ugly, misunderstood road to intolerance and hate by becoming a neo-Nazi. Ryan Gosling, the lead, blew me away with his performance throughout the film. He was emotionally able to display the inner turmoil over the truth (that he is, in fact, a Jew), and his outward reality of being a key neo-fascist figure in an underground movement. He portrayed this emotional , conflicting struggle, at times, without any words or other actors to interact with. He is definitely a hot, young actor to watch for in upcoming projects. Ryan's obvious intelligence that comes through in his acting, along with his grasp of acting and film making, in general, is impressive. This film is definitely not for everyone as some people may feel that it is offensive, even though it ultimately seemed to show the pull of religious faith as overcoming "hate". Personally, I have no problem exploring something like religious intolerance intelligently as this film made me think more about my Catholic upbringing (in a good way). I questioned my own step away from "organized" religion to being spiritual/moral, as I have questioned myself several times before, having been such a religious/pious child and young woman. So...if you want to see a great lead actor and an interesting, yet disturbing, examination into religious intolerance, then rent this video. Just be forwarned that it is ugly to be inside the head of this truly disturbed young man. Does anyone else have any movies that they would like to recommend? You don't have to give a detailed review. Thumbs up or down is OK. -
Wow! That's wonderful! I cannot wait to see it when it reairs. I'm so happy for you, Deuce.
-
LOL! I don't know what that means, but it sounds funny!

Thank you, Squeak. You are a sweetheart for saying that. I don't always feel amazing, you know. Anyway, there are many beautiful people in this world, both inside and out. I hope that we can meet in person.
