Sorry, no, but OMG, your new avatar!
-
...and is really obsessed with this "list".

WOW!!! You have gone THREE times! That is sooo cool. What did you do, and whom have you trained with? Also, what are you going to do when you return? I want to go back!!! I have only gone once.
-
You guys are killing me. I guess that I am outta THIS party. I'll get back to you when I learn how to fly on my head as you all fly on your belly ... just don't ARRRRRCH too hard!!!
-
Are you serious? I thought that Shannon was a belly flyer. Wow, the pull of the darkside must be strong...

I finished a huge, awesome meal with my family a few hours ago. I couldn't sleep, so I was post whoring and eating a huge bag of chips. (Not my first tonight...I eat a lot.) Anyway, I just laughed so hard at the last four posts that I launched a piece of my chip right towards the screen! That said, I think that Brian's Thanksgiving with his girlfriend sounded GREAT!!! Happy T-Day, all!
-
Darcy, I think that I may go to Elsinore on Sunday.

I love African Cichlids, but they are so much frickin' work. My BF is a very, very strong man, but he developed a hernia years ago from moving the HUGE tank essentially by himself. Men can be silly. If you call the Fish Store where you bought them, they know all the tricks.

The "Badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, MUSHROOM! MUSHROOM! Badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, badger, MUSHROOM! MUSHROOM!" song has beeen in my head for the last two days. I am not amused.
-
ARTHUR!!!! ((((((((HUGS))))))))) to you and your family, especially your grandmom. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, sweetie! XOXOXO ROSA

OK, I am ready to reveal MY pics. I hope that I haven't SHARED too much. Please, let me know what you think. Enjoy!

Happy Thanksgiving, Michael!!!

As a fellow woman, I'm very excited to read of this world record goal. Good luck, everyone! We're all rooting for you back home.

So, I finally logged on today and saw this thread. Lany, as I recalled, you didn't want to post pics of your real naked bum. I hope that you don't feel that you have to prove anything to anyone. As long as your BF likes your body (and it's obvious that Roy's thrilled! ), that's all that matters. You know, girlie, I think that people truly understand that it was just a joke when you posted those other pics. Right now, I feel a little bad now for "outing" you, which lead you to feel that you had to post your pic in this thread. I hope that you haven't compromised your integrity or anything. Of course, it is a wonderful thing...to be comfortable with nudity. HEY! I am 32, so I take offense to that statement! We "old chicks" aren't so bad, Lany. Also, Viking is right, you can't compare your pic to one with a model using a professional photographer. I'm sure that everyone has heard that all those glam shots in the magazines are retouched. Personally, I've met many models (male and female) due to my line of work, and they look more "normal" in real life. Your pic looks fine (we are all our worst critics!), but there are probably plenty of tricks that Viking could share with you to make your bum look even more "shapely" in pics. Before anyone asks me, I will NOT post pictures of my nude bum...no matter how nice that it may or may not be. I share personal things online in my posts sometimes, but I am certainly under no obligation to share ALL of myself with the world. Bye for now!

Yes, that happened to me, too...EXACTLY! t

Thank you, Quade. I wanted to hear advice from someone experienced, like you, about this. I'll probably try some more very soon.

I think that this line may be key, but I was wondering about one of my hop'n'pops, too. It was in Perris not too long ago. I remember actually picking up speed and going into freefall for a few seconds AFTER I threw out my PC! (Was my PC just "chillin" because I was falling too slow when I pitched and because I am so light?) Anyhoo, I LOVED the hop'n'pop, but I thought that it was "weird". Since I have only done a few of them many jumps ago, I wasn't sure if I was just imagining the strangeness. It was when I had fellow jumpers on my plane that had observed my opening talk to me about it afterwards that I realized that my jump indeed had been a little "strange". They all told me that they thought I was going to have to chop because of my LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG snivel. Yup...when my chute finally decided to begin to open, it was in SLOOOOOW MOOOOOOOTION, too. For some reason, I was very relaxed and not scared at all, but it gave all the big guys on the plane the "willies"! Well, my question is: "Should I have reached for my little silver handle"? I was pretty patient about the whole thing and in full free fall for a couple of seconds after throw out. Should I have been more worried than I was about this situation? That hop'n'pop altitude was just over 4500 (Imo, plenty of time for my long-ass snivel to finally commit.). I threw at 2-3 minutes and was under a fully inflated canopy (after helping my end cells with a back riser bump) just above 3000. (Is that even possible, or is it more likely that I have miscalculated memories of my opening altitude after having talked with the others on the plane?) I jump a Spectre that I load at .79. Thanks in advance. Edited: Btw, no one that saw my hop'n'pop critiqued it at all. The situation just made me really "think" about the whole thing for next time. I want to be prepared for anything.

African American SkyDiver! What?
VanillaSkyGirl replied to TXBLKBEAR's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Yes, I understand as I also try to surround myself with accepting and loving people. You seem like a wonderful, loving woman, so I understand why your friends/acquaintances would be just as open and accepting as you are, Lori. -
African American SkyDiver! What?
VanillaSkyGirl replied to TXBLKBEAR's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
You know, no offense, Lori, but, for some strange reason, caucasians don't run across bigots nearly as much as people of different ethnicities do. I am not overly sensitive or "politically correct", by any means, but I understand Dom's situation. I think that I have obvious "hispanic" features, but I tend to be fair- skinned (not right now) when I haven't been in the sun much. Therefore, people sometimes have no idea what "race" I am. Don't they know that some latin people are blond-haired and blue-eyed, as well? For instance, my family is 100% Peruvian, but my father's family has totally alabaster white skin and green/hazel eyes. Obviously, their ancestry must be mostly European/Spanish, more than "Indian". Many times, people that are racist against Mexicans seem to like to let me know that I am "OK" , though, because I am "different". Of course there are HUGE differences in the two cultures, but what does that mean? Also (directed to the ignorant), why assume that I am from one small country, like Mexico, if latin people encompass one whole continent and then some. -
I agree. It's a perfect day for it!

Have a beautiful Thanksgiving, JT, and all other DZ.commers! ~ I can't wait to meet you all at the Holiday Boogie!
-
Now, now, don't feel left out, Happythoughts. I think that you are far greater the insensitive lout than Clay.
-
That's one of the silliest things that I've come across here. Annoying, too. Sign me up!!! (Vanillaskygirl ~ Tiniest badger) Btw, I am doing this only to have a fluffy, plush badger strapped to my chest.

VanillaSkyGirl replied to skyshark6's topic in The Bonfire
I will drive you both to Eloy in my car if you come to L.A., Shannon. Edited: Take your time to decide, Shannon. I don't want to twist your arm. -
Wow, is that your husband? He is incredibly gorgeous , just like you. You two are probably the most beautiful couple on the DZ.
