    0:3 Saturday's weather sucked, but I brought plenty of beer 3 on Sunday @ 8500, 7500, & 13500. Chasin holes in the clouds all day. 50kt winds up high and sleet was a treat too!

    spotting from 13500 IS harder than spotting from 4500 tho...but we ALL have to be able to spot for the A...doesnt matter how you get to it....

    i think they want 5 minutes of total freefall time, in the fine print, which will come with your solos, S/L progression, etc. stick with the S/L, but be sure you start getting into the freefall portion (if offered) when you can! the static line and aff guys at our dz hit the A card in about the same time.

    my roomie in the winter owns 2 tat shops. everything here is excellent advice. also note if the artwork you see is their work and not too much "flash". flash is like clipart for tats and usually not done by the artist - which is totally fine for symbols and flowers and easy stuff. something you really like should have been done by a current employee, not an artist that left a while ago. checking the artists tats out on their body is a nice way to see if they are into fine detail, deep/light colors, etc... gives you a vibe about them if you know what i mean..
