While I was in FL for work I had the opportunity to visit Skydive Space Center. It has a very welcoming atmosphere, from the manifest to the organizers, everyone was very friendly. Space Center has VERY good organizers for all disciplines, and will make sure that a visitor has someone to jump with. Who can complain that you get 15,000 ft for each dive? I will definitely be back to Space Center, and will recommend it to anyone.

The forward split is called either a Daffy or a Romeo. As far as why you corked ( lost it), it's really hard to tell as there are many factors that can cause it. It would probably take a video to tell. Anything from not relaxing to head, shoulder, chest, pelvis, legs position.... can cause you to cork. You should not turn with your arms or hands. When you get to the point where you can dock, you'll have to learn to fly with your legs, since your arms will be holding on a formation. I saw a coach jump that Steve-O had a guy do and he made him keep his hands in front of him (like he was praying) the entire dive. This way student had to fly only with his legs and body, not his arms. Probably your legs were causing the additional turn and they have a lot more turning power that your arms. Problem with new style large DBOX and PC110???

Ok so we have an impass here. One USPA assistant director of S&T says yes, one USPA director says no. The 2004SIM does not state that SL jumps are excluded from license requiring jumps. It says as long as the jumps are made in accordance with USPA requirements. I guess you'll have to wait until the next executive commitee to meet until you get your ruling. BTW no offense directed to any of the parties above

I don't take SL photos but a friend of mine has his first jump (SL exit) picture on his wall. I don't think you'd make a ton since you'd only be able to get a few shots. And instead of paying $35-45 bucks, he'll probably bring the wife/girlfriend out with a camera to shoot his landing. And think if her police sketch and actually resembled someone? That guy would have been incarcerated. Ok, I'll start. I bought a Canon 10D from [ url "www.robertsimaging.com/" ] Roberts [/url] and I paid $1399 for it. It arrived in less than a week, they didn't overcharge, and was new in the box, USA warranty. I also got a Pelican 1520 case from [ url "www.sailtechmarine.com/" ] Sailtec Marine [/url] for $89.89 and it also came in about a week and was new in the box, and had the full liner. Chrisky, the cutter is not the same jack as the Cypres, Schwede, The fire altitude is 50ft different than the cypres, and the thing about the canopy delay being the determining factor, What I think they're talking about is that if you pull and your canopy is deploying around 1000' the unit will fire there due to the low pressure that is formed above the container. Both the cypres and the Vigil will fire I you are deploying at 1000' since they both work on barometric pressure. Unstable I don't know about the two pin cutter but I'll call Kim and get that answer. Lasly Ed, Look at the nationals photos, you'll see the logo, as well as their web-site. Or just e-mail the guys and ask them "if it's true." Sony makes a .6 lens that can be bought for $54-65 USD. Kenko makes a .42 lens for about the same. It's not the thin lens but they work well D ______________________________________________ - Does this small canopy make my balls look big? - J. Hayes -

If you're going to freefly, I would save your pennies and buy a newer rig. Not only do you have to worry about the riser covers, you've also got to look at the main and reserve pin advantages on the Vector3. Also you would get the secondary riser covers. I have been using one without incident. And yes I would definitely buy one again. Deland Majik probably has the most jumps on them (in the US), as they have used them for a season, if not two.
