    I'd say the it doesn't matter where the camera is, it's still something you might have to deal with in an emergency. What if you do have a mal, and you're grabbing camera rather than handles.     Actually to me it won't matter since I'll be overseas during the comp. I do understand the sensitivity of the question as I have seen the picture of the hanger. I didn't intend to offend anyone.     I also had this happen on a Cypres2. I even have seen a couple units that instead of counting down to 0' they would count up to 9999'. Try to figure out the DZ offset for that.....     I think it'd be ok if you're only going to side-mount a camera or only top mount a camera. The chin-cup is a must for dual cameras. I'm not the biggest fan of the NvertigoX. What I'd do is when you hit 200, start doing video only first, get some camera jumps under your belt then look at a new helmet for dual mounts. Or keep two helmets, one for video only and one for multiple mounts. If you're serious about camera flying , especially with two cameras, look at the new Bonehead Illusion or the ArrowDynamics Hawkeye (what I'm currently using now with a side mount video and a 10D still on top) I'm switching out to the Illusion since the hinged chin-cup makes it a little more solid platform for what I sometimes put on the helmet (lights, flashes...)     I'd let Alti-2 know that the AFS guy hasn't been there since before July 3. I've also seen some weird logs for the older versions (2.0.1). Which version do you have?     Yep, the stratosphere is accurate to 30K, but the regular galaxy will pick back up at 18k and will be accurate. The neptune at this time is not accurate if it goes about 18k,, according to Alti they're working on the software to make it work above 18k.
