be sure Drs put him on a blood thinner.. when I broke my femur in car accident in 1980 I devleoped blood clots which traveled to lung.. I stopped breathin for a bit nurse happen to be in room when it happned..could have killed me... the doctor that checked me out afterward was surprised to find that the doctor that set my leg (had a rod put in) did NOT put me on blood thinner. he said its pretty common to do.. for femer injurys..

The older VW TDI diesels will hit 48 mpg easy.. the new 2005 2006 A5 body style TDI are bigger redesigned cars, same little 1.9 turbo diesel.. get about 42 mpg... bigger car more weight..same motor as older cars the older A4 (some are 2005's) get better mileage.. oh and they are fast and powerful too..

I was thinking fuel though fuel pump helps cool pump... yea fuel can help jube cylinders, but too much will wash oil off cylinder walls too still oil is the primary lubercation. which why it runs a squence every other firing on fuel injectors.. if you want fuel mileage just buy a VW TDI....

fuel is not lubercation.. oil is..

they use software to stop one injector and then on next firing it injects fuel.. it doesn't shut injector down al the time instead it runs a Squence then next firing order different squence then back to other Squence... its been around for awhile on the caddalic Northstar V8's...

The "Pieces of Eight" the amputee skydivers are planning to get together again for fun and new record jumps. I'm organizing the event for 2006. The dates and location have not been decided yet, but were looking at holding the event in Fall, 2006 must likely in September or October. I hope to have the date's and Location of events set & fixed by mid Janurary 2006 In recent years there become several more amputee skydivers that I become aware of from Dropzone.com and the fourm "Skydivers with Disabilitys" and i'm trying to find / reach you guys. I would like get your address / email and include you new guys in the Pieces of Eight 2006 get together. I have just mailed out an event update to all the current members of the Pieces of Eight Amputee skydivers that we have on our mailing list.
