I explained it was the single most expensive thing I owned and I was very protective of it what you should have told them was that your life depends on YOUR parachute and that you could NOT risk it getting damage by the bag smashers (bag Handlers) or risk it coming into contact with all the stuff in cargo bay (trust me I work on aircraft and nasty spills in cargo bays) You need to stress YOUR life depends on your parachute and you don't want it out of your control to avoid hidden damge damages to the rig.

I'm deaf too.. and I have people hang up when I make relay calls too. sometimes if I'm buying car parts and they do that I get my brother and we "order" bunch Items and tel them we'll be in in 15 minutes have it ready! course we never show up.. if they hang up on me they don't get my business...

Hiro and another deaf skydiver from Japan fly to Perris several times a year to jump ther asses off because its so much cheaper to jump in USA than Japan. Like poster above said start saving $$$$$4

yea and why do we need USPS sponsering "one nut" Armstrong and his team on tour defrance? the USPS wastes millions of $$$ why do we need mail service 6 days a week? every other day would be ok... there's FedEx for the important letters.. USPS uses FedEx any way to deliver their overnight mail to them any way... Post Office is run by bunch of idiots and they are way over paided.

There were lot jumpers from Finland at Zyphryhills last week. Maybe next year you can join them?

I used to work for FedEx at their AFW hub. big bulky items like Suitcases rubbermaid boxes etc get hand loaded on to convary belts and then hand loaded on to "baggage cart" like airlines use to putt luggage on at gates. it is then moved to "can" for city its going to by hand regular card board boxes and stuff get put on a elivated convery belt (about waist high) and then get kicked off belt by bar code readers and slide dow chutes where they crash into all other boxes and more boxes crash into it later...put it in rubbermaid box or suitcase or such and it'll get handled better. yea insure it it's cheap airbills do come off and they have no idea where freight goes. so it get kicked to memphis what they do with unknown/ no address freight there I have no idea...FedEx is quick on paying any insurance claim too. edit I'm typing this at work and the keyboard is carp. haf the keys are stuck. you got to POUND the keyboard to type excuse spelling errors

I ewas there.. and left high winds early in week = no jumping. Otter was down day & hal;f loads were backed up big time....got only 3 jumps in all day. sucks . I left!
