Who Is The Man Behind The Ground Zero Mosque?
dgskydive replied to SkyPiggie's topic in Speakers Corner
Even the maps are confusing as to what is and what isnt NYC. The 5 boroughs make up NYC. Bronx, Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan and Staten Island. Most of the time if you pull up a map of NYC, it really doesn't show Staten Island and a lot of times not even Queens. They tend to show the Island of Manhattan only.Brooklyn has the biggest population of those 5 boroughs. Manhattan has the most money. Dom -

Again...Your poll shows that they support the fact that they have religious freedom. Not that they support building it in that spot. Dom -

How about the 5 boroughs together. Actually the polls say what I believe. They have the right to build. Just think they should build it somewhere else. Dom -

Polls can say whatever the taker wants them to say with the right questions. It would be interesting to see what would happen if it was put to a vote. A simple "yes" or "no" to the location. Dom -

I have stated before that I think this should have stayed a local matter. Politics and the PC era we live in gets in the way. Dom -

dgskydive replied to SkyPiggie's topic in Speakers Corner
892 people in Manhattan is not an accurate poll. Not even close. There are more people then that work in my office building. Even the top number in the poll that you posted shows that 67% of the people polled think that they do have the right to build, but shouldn't. Dom -

Again. Supporting freedom of Religion does not mean supporting the Mosque at that location. Dom -
Who Is The Man Behind The Ground Zero Mosque?
dgskydive replied to SkyPiggie's topic in Speakers Corner
You know this because you live and work in Manhattan and hear what people are saying everyday? Or just some poll that can be manipulated in anyway a person wants it to be. Most people that I have spoken to say...They have the right to build, but don't think that they should. Saying that they have religious freedom and can build the Mosque is not the same a "supporting" the Mosque. Dom -
lol. Its "The Onion" Andy. Dom

BJ has definitely done a lot of work in progressing Big Ways, for a long time. No one can deny that. I have also seen that the P3 camps and the Kate and Tony camps before that, have done a lot of work with the big way jumpers over the years. They have built a stable of very good big way jumpers that are loyal to them. I personally watched them work for months on end to get people ready for the World Team events. A lot of HARD work. They have trained and groomed jumpers a large percentage of the jumpers on the World Team events. Of course other organizers from all over the Us and the World have helped get people ready for the World Team events. There is no denying that. But name me one other camp that has put out more quality jumpers then P3 or the Kate and Tony Bigway Camps before that. I am not knocking BJ. He has a world of experience and obviously the no how to get these records done. But I never saw BJ actually training anyone. I never saw him hold a big way camp for younger jumpers. P3 and Kate and Tony have spent a lot of time and effort into these camps. Most other bigway organizers just invite people to an event based on what they have seen them do in OTHER events. If BJ is upset that people have finally seen that they are actually doing most of the work (training and evaluating jumpers) and recruiting them for their own record attempt. Maybe he should put in the time and effort to run bigway camps and build a following of jumpers that are loyal to him. I am glad that P3 has decided to take the ball and run with it. In my eyes it has been their ball for awhile.Well maybe not their ball, but definitely the majority of the players are theirs. BJ, go get back in touch with jumpers. Jump with people, run some camps. Build a following. To most jumpers you are a name and the guy that makes fun of DZ.com at board meetings. Ask a newer bigway jumper if they know BJ Worth. They will say...who? Isnt he a USPA BOD member? Bet most of them don't know you even jump anymore. Ask those same jumpers if they know who Kate and Tony and Dan BC are. They will probably say....aren't they the bigway organizers that run all those camps you have to attend to get on World Team? You have done a lot for this sport BJ, but you seem out of touch with jumpers today. Dom

El Zanati (the man behind the man) gave money to HLF Foundation
dgskydive replied to dgskydive's topic in Speakers Corner
Do I really need to go and post a bunch of links to all the ways women are stripped of their human rights? I can post pics and everything if you want. I see evidence everyday that Muslims kill each other over a different interpretations of Islam. I see evidence everyday that Muslims want to kill westerners. Islam does have an Army. Just because they all don't fly the same colors doesn't mean it is not an Army. I will agree it is not a typical Army, but it is an Army. Bin Laden is not a leader of a country...correct. Those two sentences are separate from each other. A lot of people would differ with you about the Taliban. They did rule Afghanistan. And will again after we leave. Why is Pakistan in a civil war? Hmmmm? Because you cannot have a true democratic Govt when Islam is involved. The Religious types move in and then turn on the govt. It is happening now. People like you that refuse to see it are only helping them. But that is ok as long as we dont offend their religion. I do have a bias against Muslims. Once I don't have to worry about them blowing me up on the subway going to work. I will change that story. I have traveled probably just as much as you have. I have been to every continent and have lived more then a 3rd of my life outside of the U.S. I don't base my opinion on random thoughts. Every place I have ever been, Islam has been at odds with the culture of that country. Dom -
El Zanati (the man behind the man) gave money to HLF Foundation
dgskydive replied to dgskydive's topic in Speakers Corner
Well they have a paper trail of him donating money to HLF. Through his lawyer he admitted giving money to them. So that is a given at this point. They will investigate him and we will find out. Although. It they find that he did do that knowingly. Some people on here will say it is all a conspiracy to keep the Muslims down and ignore that fact that he would be a terrorist supporting criminal at that point. Oh and as far as HLF goes, it is documented and people are sitting in jail right now as a result of the support to Hamas. Dom -

My head is not buried in the sand buddy. If it was, i would be saying. Leave these guys alone, they just want to build a center where everyone can play and swim and learn about each other. It will be great!! When in fact, everyday something new is found that keeps pointing right towards the fact that there are criminals at work building this Mosque. Criminals that may be supporting Hamas. If they can support Hamas, they are more then capable of supporting other terrorist organizations. Dom -
No, no, no... If he did that, he wouldn't be in the spot light anymore. Al Sharpton does more to hurt african americans the help them. Dom

UGH. Find a different argument. Timothy McVeigh was protesting America. Not bombing in the name of America. Dom -

The IRA is not running around calling for the destruction of the Western World like some Muslims are. I don't condone there actions. Dom -

Why? They didnt destroy the towers in the name of Saudi Arabia. They did it in the name of Islam. Dom -
El Zanati (the man behind the man) gave money to HLF Foundation

The original dispute was over where it was being built. People protested the location. Since they wouldn't move it or even really discuss it. People starting digging for dirt. Now they are finding it. Dom -
El Zanati (the man behind the man) gave money to HLF Foundation
dgskydive replied to dgskydive's topic in Speakers Corner
I dont know...maybe somewhere that was not covered in ash and rubble from the towers. Maybe not right next to a building that was hit by one of the engines from one of the planes. Maybe less then shouting distance from where people that jumped from buildings landed and leaked blood all over the streets because the just wanted out of the fire that was burning them alive. Dom -

Because we are talking about the Mosque. This wasnt a discussion about the IRA. How do you know that money from Hamas isnt supporting terror other then in the middle east? Dom -

El Zanati (the man behind the man) gave money to HLF Foundation
dgskydive replied to dgskydive's topic in Speakers Corner
Actually didnt even think about using the word pig. You can call me a biggot, say that I hate and am intolerant. It just shows that you know NOTHING about me what so ever. All the people that oppose the Mosque are asking, is for it to be built somewhere else. Nobody said DONT build one. They just asked not to build it there. Now people are digging and finding dirt. I didn't make El Zanati give money to HLF. I didn't make El Gamal beat up and sexually assault people. They did that all on their own. Dom
