Extremists force Mecca club to change its name
dgskydive replied to remibond's topic in Speakers Corner
Yes, but do they threaten to blow up and kill people if they dont? Islam says...we love you and if you dont do as we say, we will kill you. Dom -
Gotta have it on an Android phone. Dom

Verizon wont tell you until maybe 24 or 48 hours before it is released if they tell you at all. The store reps do not know anything about updates. They are not in the loop what so ever. Most of them will got to gizmodo or engadget and see what the tech blogs are saying as to the expected release dates. Just google "Droid X android 2.2 update" you will be able to start to see the rumor mill turn. HAve fun. I went through this with my HTC Hero. It gets maddening listening to all the rumors. Or go to XDA and you can learn how to root your phone and then install the new ROM on your own. Most of the time they have a way for you to revert back to the stock 2.1 ROM if you have problems. But a lot of the times with these rooted ROMS, some of the features wont work. But XDA will probably have a full working ROM before there is an official update from Verizon. Dom

A disturbing PM I recieved...bad advice???

Please post the name of the person that told you that. Please, please, please. Dom -
They will argue with you Mark. Even Imam Rauf said basically the same thing as this article on CSPAN a few nights ago. Clean up your own garbage. Then the rest of the world might start trusting Islam. Dom

Hello everyone, i was wondering if you could help
dgskydive replied to liebenberg's topic in Skydivers with Disabilities
I think your biggest issue is going to be finding a rig that allows you to deploy your main, cutaway and deploy your reserve if needed all with one hand. I have never seen a rig that allows for all that. Not saying one doesnt exist. I just havent seen one. Im sure something could be done to help you steer and land with only one hand, but cutting away and pulling reserves are pretty important and need two hands to do. I would check with the manufactures and see if anyone has made a rig in the past that would work for you. Dom -
I bet the cops apologized to him all the way too jail. Once he got back in the house he should have grabbed his rifle and called the police...but stayed inside. If they entered his home, be would have every right to shoot them. By going back outside HE PUT HIMSELF back In danger and escalated the situation at the same time by having the rifle. Firing into the ground is just as bad (in the eyes of the law) as firing into the air. He showed restraint and bad judgement at the same time. Dom

Yes Rich they are. So am I. But this what a lot of people fear. We are starting to ask Americans to not exercise their rights so as not to upset Islam. What's next? Our women should cover up if they are within view of a Mosque? No kissing within 100ft of a Mosque? It may upset Muslims worldwide and we don't want to do that now do we. Dom

http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/ap/top/all/7190534.html Just watching CSPAN. The white house Deputy Director of Public Relations (i think that was his title) was visibly upset when a reporter asked him why the Federal Govt. was pressuring Americans to not exercise their rights. This white house spokesman told him it was against American principles to do this. Since when is exercising your constitutional rights against American principles? Dom

Some wacky Baptists want to burn some Qurans on Saturday. The American flag is burned all the time in Muslim dominated countries. We have freedom of religion in this country. We have freedom of speech AND freedom of expression. These guys are just expressing themselves. Our Govt. is asking them not to do it. We don't want to upset Muslim nations. We don't wany to endanger out soldiers they say. Really? Or own Govt. asking its own citizens to NOT to exercise their Freedom of Expression so that we dont upset people in another country. Dom

Who Is The Man Behind The Ground Zero Mosque?
dgskydive replied to SkyPiggie's topic in Speakers Corner
Bill, you know Damn well what people mean by a vote. Your the one that keeps talking about polls and the "support" for the Mosque. When in actuality, they are supporting religious freedom and oppose the location. A local zoning board does not speak for "the people" In that way and you know that. Dom -

They can build it in NYC, they can build it in Manhattan. Just dont think they need to build at that site. Before you ask me "where should they, how far away is far enough?" How about where pieces of planes didn't hit. How about where ash and debris didn't fall. How about not next to a building that was hit by pieces of the plane? Dom -

Never should have stepped foot back in that country. Bush should be thrown in jail for the lies that were told to get us there. Dom -

Not 40 people on a local zoning board Bill. A city wide open election. Dom -
