So the leg straps go beneath the holes?? Or when you put the leg straps on, the holes are on top of the leg straps? Perhaps a picture of someone with their rig on wearing the pants before they jump would be really great to see where the holes are

Yeah, I felt the birdle on my right leg and the main wasn't coming out. So I sat up on my back and pulled it away with my right hand, and as soon as I did that, I faced down and flew on my belly. Then the main come out immediately after that. If it didn't come out I was pretty ready to cut away and deploy my reserve. Funny thing was it happended so fast, no time to panic!

I just got a 7 cell fury and I personally find that it flies much better than a 9 cell that I used to fly. Well, at least I enjoy flying it more!! Can someone comment on the differences in flight between a 9 cell and 7 cell? I find that I can get more swoops on the fury than on the 9 cell! Why is that? I don't want to swoop actually, it just happens!! I got the 7 cell to practice for BASE, but of course when I do do a BASE jump it's gonna be with a BASE specific canopy. Besides, this Fury is 220, I would need a 265 at least. www.motavi.com

Thanks JP and Quade for that piece of information. I have been re-using my DV tapes for quite awhile now with no problems, although recently I have seen dropped frames or the other video I shot coming up on the newest video! My guess would be 2-3 times? www.motavi.com

Just thought that I'd share some frame grabs from last weekend's jump. I deployed and noticed that the bridle was being blocked by my right leg. I reached out and grabbed it and the main deployed. Didn't really think about it but just did it. You can see from the pictures that my right hand went to bring the bridle away from my leg. That was a pilot chute in tow correct? Sorry about the pictures, but that was the best I could do with Adobe Premier. Comments anyone? www.motavi.com

Hi Quade, I was just wondering how many times you can reuse a DV tape in a camera before you need to discard the tape? I wouldn't want the tape to disintegrate inside my camera! Thanks for the advice in advance. Matthew www.motavi.com

I'm wearing sunglasses but I lost them when I went headdown!! They are SPY sunglasses. I think it's a good idea to have a strap on the back of the sunglasses to prevent them from flying away. I find that goggles fog up and hey, sunglasses look way cooler! www.motavi.com

Is your firewire card compatible with your computer? Did you install the driver first (some products require you to install the driver first and then plug in the component). Do you have the right driver? My suggestion would be that you take your system to your dealer and get them to set it up for you. Hope that helps.

Howdy all, I just came back from watching the premiere of Lara Croft 2, Cradle of Life and there are a couple of scenes that feature BASE wingsuit jumping! Lara and her partner jump off the tallest building in Hong Kong and what they planned to do was to jump from the baddies and wingsuit fly about 3 miles to the harbour and land on a shipping vessel. It's quite cool when they jump and their suit inflates, but then it seems quite obvious that they kind of replayed their flying but changed the background to show how far forward they were flying. They then proceeded to land on a shipping vessel very softly. I also noticed that the caopies opened very slowly. It seemed to me that it wasn't BASE packing and the canopies had double stacked cells (it was a yellow canopy). Can anyone confirm this? Anyone know the real people who actually did the shot? I know it depends on the height you jump, but can one fly that far with a wingsuit??? Then there was another scene where she landed on a jeep that was moving forward and she was like still talking to the driver before she cut away her main canopy. Like the canopy is not going to suck you off the jeep!!! The movie is pretty cool though so check it out when it comes out!

For one, I'd rather save the money and two, I just prefer if I pack. Just feel safer
