    They were not swaged onto the cable. It was a stainless steel cab that was silver soldered onto the end of the cable. You never heard of it happening because it never did.     Scott, This guys has got just over 500 jumps in 8 years. In you expert opinion do you think he is ready to jump a 7 cell reserve loaded at 1.7:1. I see "A LOT" of things at the DZ, but that does not make them the smart thing to do. We are all adults so go with what you think is best for you. If you bust your ass, just think of how many "I told you so's" you will have coming. It is not a matter of "if" but "when". This is not directed at you personally, but everyone in general. I have been doing this for a long time and I can still walk without a limp. There are "A LOT" of jumpers that inside of 5 years could not walk at all. jmo.
