    Your reserve is out of your control, if your profile is correct, but you still jump with it. These so call "burnouts" you speak of all hold a A&P Cert. (airframe & powerplant) from the FAA. That is the same Cert. held by the folks that work on the last airline you flew on. You were an AF mechanic, did you ever get your A&P rating from the FAA? If you were a mechanic for the AF, why do you live in England, Europe? In the real world we deal with the things we have control and knowledge of. If we are smart we leave the things we know nothing about to those that have the training and education to deal with.     When the military contracts aircraft, i.e. a civilial jump aircraft, they require that the plane meet Part 135. Civilian aircraft that fly jumpers are only required to meet Part 91. Wingnut, how many of these minor things you saw at Eloy would have affected the airworthyness of the aircraft? Would you hold an A/C that can barely do 200 KEAS to the same standard as an F-16 doing aeerobatics at 1.5 mach?     By the time a child is 12 years old he/she knows the difference between right and wrong. This is regardless of his/her envionment or what kind of parents are involved. Actions taken at the age of 15 are the sole responsibility of the the 15 year old. They know damn well what they are doing when they do it. Some choose to act within the rules of society and some choose behavior that is outside of those rules. Its time to start holding people, young and old, responsible for their actions.     I am aware of what NFPA says, I sat on one of the committees that wrote part of 1500. But in 30 years in the Fire Service I have not seen or heard of kevlar protective clothing for fire fighting with the exception of some gloves. Could you post the manufacture and spec. label?     Jump Shack, Racer, has had Pull Outs since before there was a RI or SunPath and they always recommended R-L. To do other wise is asking for a total. No I don't but you say you do. "caused me to pack pull-outs R-L even before Sunpath recommended it." Like I said before, ask yourself will it improve function or safety.
