Vigil Forced To Honour Money-Back Guarantee

Very interesting, Thanks! -
Again I have no stake in this, this is just an observation. Before the policy went into effect the dealer would list the MSRP and the price that the dealer would sell a PD canopy to the end user for. The end user is not buying the canopy from PD they are buying it from the dealer so the while the MSRP is nice it means very little to the jumper shopping for a new canopy. They should be able to deal directly with the dealer.

First of all, I have no stake in this and could care less about PD's policies. I would guess that there is a substantial segment of your potential customer base that is only interested in the lowest discount and do not feel they will need “customer service”.

And tell me how do you reach understanding if you fail to analyze? If your boss didn’t analyze things there would not be a skyhook.

A brake coming unstowed was not a problem before Velcro less toggle became the norm. Probably the biggest cause for a "brake fire" is the jumper reaching up for the risers and pulling the toggle loose. This was harder to do with Velcro toggles. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals -

The skyhook adds one more layer of complexity to repacking a reserve. If you lose sight of that you are on your way down a slippery slope. That’s why this was issued: PSB#20031203 Skyhook RSL My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

The one in this picture flew a Perris for a few years. The sign as you turn into the DZ is made of one of the wing from this plane. Mike Duran used to live in it.

And what type of trainer was you flying that were certified for aerobatic flight. All of which could get his lic. pulled and yours put in question. That’s not "unconventional" it would seem to be bad judgment. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals -

It’s already been done, vacuum sealed. Simula out of Tempe AZ makes the Thin Pack or Dura Pack. One problem, vacuum sealing makes it hard as a rock. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals
