  1. Congratulations on your 100th. Your post was made at 1:02 pm. What happened to jumping dawn to dusk? I guess you just had enough “max” to make one jump today. That’s cool.
  2. You are right, when there are kids involved it really sucks. It doesn't get any better after 30 years. But I wouldn't trade one minute on the job for anything.
  3. You do realize that you are not doing a very good job of changing my mind? You need to back off a bit and learn to chill. You might want to give this a try.
  4. I don't believe I am "stuck up" but I could be wrong. But I have made more jumps with newbies in the last 18 months then your have made in you life. I just find it a waste of time to try and deal with spoiled little brats that whine when the world does not turn the way they think it should. A little growing up and maturity might help some people. 5. Now that is a witty reply. Is that the same mouth you kiss your mother with. I can see why no one wants to jump with you. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals
  6. Silly me, I thought not telling the truth was telling a lie. Hell, reading your post proves I have a sense of humor.
  7. And in one year and -100 jumps you are a "real skydiver"? Some skydivers suck. As for the rest of your posts, Do you serve cheese with that whine? Get over it, skydiving doesn't revolve around you and never will.
  8. You got a D lic. and you can't figure this out. There are only 2 jumpers on a 2 way. The experienced jumper should have been able to track far enough where a new jumper could not back slide into him during deployment. If it were a 3 way with 1 experienced jumper, it would be on experienced jumper to emphasize separation during the dirt dive and maybe raise break off to allow for more separation time. And you think that works well, thats how people get killed. There are no winners when the blind lead the blind. And in case you are wondering, I have been known to jump with “newbies” once in awhile and on my dime. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals
  9. that same class reveals that unit sales decrease when you increase unit prices. And your point is? My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals
  10. Sometimes providing options to skydivers can be a bad thing. They might tend to pick options based on appearance, fad or style. Why would someone jump a 135 day in and day out and then when things turn to shit, and they may be injured or unconscious revert to 97 sq. ft. 7 cell canopy made of F-111 that they have jumped maybe 2 or 3 times? Naa, they wouldn't do that because the rig looks "cool", would they? My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals
  11. I've been kind of slow today, but I'm having a hard time figuring out how increasing prices is going to help dealers make money? Am I missing something? Economics 101, the more you sell the more you make.
  12. Fixed it for you! I flippin' hope it acts as an altimeter audible warning device or maybe I have just been lucky with the 'random' beep timing for the last three years... There I fixed it for you. You can't look at a ProTrac attached to you helmet and see what you altitude is. If you could it would be an altimeter.
  13. It would seem Radioshack carries batteries for just about everything.
  14. As was posted by Fast, a great deal of information in your profile can be filled out with problems and it makes it much easier to answer questions knowing the experience of the person asking them.
  15. I was going to guess Sapphire too. We had them as student altis back in Montreal. You mean like I mentioned a few posts ago? http://www.square1.com/manufacturers/square1/p910.asp My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals
  16. I don't know why so many folks are trying to marry components of their rig. Maybe congress is right. Maybe gay marriage has opened the door to this kind of perversion. Opps! Did not mean to shake your belief in matrimonial bliss. There I fixed it just for you.
  17. What some people did "back in the day" was just terrible. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals
  18. He is a Firefighter and sometimes he has to see someone die and realize he can't help them. When you make helping people your lifes work it hurts when you lose one. But he is tough, he will be there next shift and save the next one.
  19. Ever get on a commercial airliner with your rig on, sit down, and reply to the stares you get, "What, they didn't give you yours?!" ltdiver Me, not me, I wouldn't do something like that.
  20. I think you are starting to get the picture.

  22. Could it be one of these. http://www.square1.com/manufacturers/square1/p910.asp My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals
  23. It's an original Rolex Oyster Diving watch, not an altimeter! J/K Chuck! I didn't know that Oysters wore a watch when diving. Learn something new every day.
  24. I prefer to listen to only people who agree with me. It re-enforces my feeling of self worth. Plus I don’t have to think as much.
