It is a carry over from when there were certified lofts and canopies were required to be hung for 24 hours before packing. But as I posted before, the regs. still refers to drying and airing before packing. § 65.129 Performance standards. No certificated parachute rigger may— (c) Pack a parachute that has not been thoroughly dried and aired; My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

Velocity Hard Opennings !!! The ANSWER
mjosparky replied to Perriscicaba's topic in Gear and Rigging
Quote but I suspect that having some line tension on the d-bag might help keep the d-bag from spinning. Tight stow if anything contribute the bag spinning by producing "bag whip". With a line stow pocket the lines play out in line with the bridle and PC.. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals -
I never what to be on my deathbed saying to myself, damn I wish I had tried this or that. As you say life is short, but I want to taste all of it.

Tell it to the FAA. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

actually (technically) Air, Inspect and Recertify....... (as airworthy) but you do have to pack it to make it airworthy so...... either will do There is nothing in the FAA reg. that mentions, "recertify" pertaining to an approved parachute. There is mention of airing, inspection and packing. This may be something used in military rigging only. I was always told that I&R were short for “Inspect and Repack”. I stand corrected, I guess you didn't say this. You just posted it to look like you said it. But I believe you did say this for which your Mother would be proud. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals -
No. I think I can live with this . That is what all addicts say.

I have deleted this post. I have been advised by PM that these two young men are no longer with us. This makes me very sad. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals -

Only back then? Pain and repetition are excellent teachers. Most of us felt the pain back then.

Many years ago Pat Works and Hank Asciutto made up some very similar. But have not seen any of them around for a long time. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

I think that would depend on how it was written up and how good one is at “creative writing”.

And this is probably the biggest part of TSO. Testing is only done once, tractability paperwork follows every part of every rig during manufacturing. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

Manifest, we don't need no stinking manifest. 5 in 5 out, exit, exit exit. But come to think of it, it was not a DZ. It was a test range and you were taking a test. And we won't even talk rigs. -

Yea, but like I said, if you own the DZ you can do shit like that. And if you had gone in we would have buried you where you landed and given you flight jacket to Nick. You want to borrow my jump suit again? Hell, I doubt he has been around long enough to know what Ghoulidge was. -
sdctlc Just about the same way I feel. If what you suspect is true DZ.com is not the place to deal with it. You lose most if not all of your credibility by making such vague accusations anonymously. This tactic will almost always make your motives suspect. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals
