A wise move on your part. Remember this is recreation. Have fun and stay safe. It is not a race. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

Thank you.

Now who is not reading what is posted. I did not call you stupid. I said I feel people that downsize to quickly are stupid. If you feel you are in that group maybe you should reconsider your choices. Dan BC, Kate Cooper, Roger Ponce de Leon, Tony Domenico and Larry Henderson all use packers 100% of the time. Your best strategy at this point is to admit you probably don’t what you are talking about and bail. You have no more room to keep backing up. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

24 hours and all you take is 10 pictures? This picture shows how fast he was moving.

Like I've said before, skydivers refuse to learn from the pain of others. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

Reserves normally come with "links". They may be Rapide links or one of the many "soft" links on the market. I am not sure what Aerodyne uses. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

Thank you Squeak. Now if the USPA Board would put something along those lines in the SIM so the newer jumpers who have never competed in 8 way would have some idea what "random" means.

If you opinion is characterized by calling people derogatory names maybe you should keep it to yourself. People have a lot of reasons for not packing and being laze is just your take on it. I think people that downsize to quickly are stupid but that is just my opinion. They are free to do as they see fit and I will not call them stupid. That would be rude. Is that something like being blatantly arrogant? Who made you the packing Sheriff with only 30 some jumps? My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

Tips on Healing Up Broken Femur...?
mjosparky replied to somethinelse's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Ah, but there is a cast for hips and femurs. You don't want to go there though. About half way down the page. Hip Spica My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals -
That’s a damn good question. It might just be a case of "lets through in excess verbiage to make it sound important". Lets see if one of our Board members that post here will jump in and explain that for us. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

Thoughts on using a weighbelt before purchasing a smaller canopy?
mjosparky replied to osd's topic in Gear and Rigging
Here we go again. You have 23 jumps, why are you is such a hurry to downsize. There is nothing you can learn on a 190 that you can't learn on a 210. And because the canopy is a bit more forgiving you might just learn faster. Slow down and learn to enjoy the sport. And how did you figure that the wingloading would scale? Did you figure the other factors of a smaller canopy into this "downscale". My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals -
I would say with Willard J. Stokes it is possible.

His information in not wrong. The latest version of Part 105 was 9 May, 2001. Instead of wondering, why not look this sort of thing up and keep a record of what you find. I have been told that education is a good thing. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

Apples and oranges. Towing a square parachute or even tying off to a fixed object in high winds is dumb. A release does not make it any safer. Ask Harry O’Connor and he was under a round. The release was not fast enough to save his life. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

And that will not be that last time you will receive conflicting advise for people who are supposed to know better. Do as much research on your own, learn as much as you can. Then you can be the one they ask. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

Good advise, but then what would the manufactures know about anything? My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

Yes, I know 3 months is less then 120 days. If I am not mistaken 120 days is right around 4 months If the life cycle of the Cypres will expire the day after the repack it is good for 3 more months. That to is less than 120 days. They want to replace the battery if it has less then 3 months left. But they want a rigger to pack a Cypres if it has less then 3 months left. Their manual does not say anything about “default procedure”. It says the battery will be replaced. The CYPRES battery will be replaced if its life time is up, or will end in less than 3 months. (The new battery is not included in the maintenance price) And my name is not "dude" like, you know. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

Gypsy Moths - Howard. Is it still flying?

John, I just looked at the picture again. How did the canopy get over the left horizontal? My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals
