Dave, do you have any hard data to back that statement up? My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals -

I thought you were Canadian. -
My point was that you are asking riggers to pack a reserve with a component that will not make the 120-day cycle but you will not do that with a battery during a 4/8-year maintenance. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

BASE jumpers don't use a reserve. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

You can remove the cargo section of the door and it is almost twice a big. Not very high though. I have done several demos from both the Cherokee Six and the Turbo Lance. They are a bitch to spot from.

Boy that sounds arrogant as hell. I sure hope you don’t travel out of country very often. Do you what the regs. are anywhere else besides the US? My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals -
Repost By the same token you are robbing the owner of up to 3 months of batter life. From Cypres Maintenance Information. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Will the battery be replaced? The CYPRES battery will be replaced if its life time is up, or will end in less than 3 months. (The new battery is not included in the maintenance price) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Why not just mark on the paper work when the battery is due and let the owner handle it? Gypsy Moths - Howard. Is it still flying?

Howards are nice, but those Staggerwings are a work of art. A Staggerwing is what a Howard wants to be when it grows up. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals -

It has more to do with seeing this same scenario played out over and over again. It gets really old reading about some "I can handle it" in the incident forum. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals -

The picture posted by tornado in post #18 is a PA-28 Piper Cherokee. Looks like maybe an old Cherokee 160. It is a 4 place A/C and has one door above the right wing. The picture posted by Shropshire in post #21 is a PA-32 Piper Cherokee Six. It is a six place A/C and has a door behind the left wing. (there is also a door above the right wing) Taking a 3 way out of a PA-28 would be almost impossible. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

Tim, I have over 1000 jumps on a bag with only 2 stows and a side pocket for the rest of the lines. And probably 800+ jumps with a conventional bag, all lines stowed, all with the same canopy. There seems to be no noticeable difference in the openings. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

Can you explain how you got 3 jumpers out of the one door in a linked exit? My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

I don't think you took a 3 way out of a Piper Cherokee. It may have been a Cherokee 6 or a Piper Lance. The Cherokee only has one door and it is above the right wing. The Cherokee 6 and the Lance have a left hand door just behind the left wing and a cargo door right behind that can be removed. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals

but several very experienced jumpers ......... I'm a pretty experienced packer....... Any thoughts? Quote Yea, I think Aerodyne is more experienced then you and those several jumpers. There is usually a reason they say a container is only good for such and such a canopy. My idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals
