The plastic sheeting around the windows has helped me in the past. I assume that you have radiators for heat, have they been bled lately? If you can get the air out of the system they'll operate much more efficiently. You should be able to find something at Lowes or HomeDepot to automatically bleed the system, they're cheap, I'm told. Perhaps it is the Ultra Left Blinders which prohibit you from seeing Michele's logical, reasonable, and moderate viewpoint. Why? I'm not trying to sway you into purchasing something that you don't want, but the comfort factor is pretty important when you spend the better part of a day wearing your rig. I see you've got 38 jumps now, that's not a lot. Consider what comfort will mean when you begin to spend the better part of your day in that rig. It's something to think about. Do you think that since we don't oust Dictator A that it is wrong to oust Dictator B? Or that because we didn't help those people that we can't help these people? I realize you're on a budget, but skimping on the rings is a Bad Idea. In addition to the comfort factor, rings seem to add significantly to the resale value of a rig. If you're rig shopping on a budget, why not get an Infinity or a Wings?
