If you'll recall, the war on Iraq has been in the planning since the Clinton administration, maybe even as far back as Bush Sr. This certainly wasn't GW's original idea, he's simply the one who's finished what others started. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

No, probably not, since dead folk can't vote (except in Chicago). However, they might kick your ass for trolling in the forums. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

I went through a very similar experience last season. I flipped over onto my back after I had realized what happened and tried to replace the handle. When it came time to pull I opted to go straight to the reserve. At the time I was thinking that I had no idea how much the reserve pin had moved, I was afraid that opening shock from the main might dislodge the pin and result in a two out situation. The thought of two out scares me more than the thought of a terminal reserve opening. For the record: * My new container has a soft reserve handle. * Terminal reserve openings can hurt. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

I thought we were talking about Iraq and WMD. Please spout the other lies in another thread. Thank you. Come again. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

Didn't the Iraqi government lead the inspectors around on a leash, only allowing access to select buildings at select times? That gave, in my opinion, the impression that Iraq was playing a shell game with something they didn't want the inspectors to find. What do you think they were hiding? Massive stockpiles of Cookie Crisp? Their new high-tech marshmallow manufacturing process? Whether they exist[ed] or not, they Iraqi government created the illusion that they did. What else were we supposed to go on? How long were we to let the charade continue? The Iraqi government played a dangerous game. They lost. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. I don't know how weak the gun control laws are in the US when compared to other modernized countries. Please provide some examples. How are our laws lacking in the teeth? - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

I think it's great, but I grew up right in the middle of the two. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed. -
I've been thinking lately about Bush's moon base, the recent trips (unmanned) to Mars, the Space Station, the space program in general. What is the benefit that these programs provide? I understand the benefit that satilites provide, what about everything else that we're doing up there? - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

Until you find a better way to weight the score, yes. I'm sorry, but giving a kid preference because he's not a WASP is as much a load of crap as denying entrance for the same reason. You've got to be kidding me! Someone who does well at a fancy private school is unmotivated, or mediocre? What kind of crap is that? But a black, or hispanic kid who doesn't do as well on the SAT is a genius? Really, Professor, that just doesn't add up. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

Yes, I understood. I also understand that the economy and the budget are large and complex enough that trying to explain them with cookies just doesn't work. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

Yeah, sure. Now that it's been explained to me in cookes it all makes sense. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.

Banned for life. In the beginning he said that he didn't gamble. Now, in his latest book, he claims that he did, but never against his team. What to believe? I believe that he's willing to say whatever he thinks the folks in charge want to hear. Screw him. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
