    Actualy none. The person must be under the supervision of an apropriately rated rigger, or manufacturer! That's right, techicaly a manufacturer does not even need to have a rigging ticket.     Change your order, let this manufacturer know that it is unacceptable to keep customers waiting half a year for a new rig!     You'd be surprised how many jumpers bought gear thinking that they could "grow into it". You'd probably be more surprised if you knew how many of them no longer skydive because they were badly injured, or worse, killed. The problem with buying gear that you'll grow in to, is that you need to know how to fly it NOW, not 6 months or a year from now, NOW. Listen to your instructors, they have the expereience and the judgement to advise you in this matter.     You do downwind jumpruns in Australia? With very few exceptions my home DZ does our jumpruns into the wind. A downwind jumprun would put jumpers out all over creation and back, assuming even as much as a few seconds in between groups. I don't think that this is a safe assumption.     This is a good question to ask your pilots, your S&TA, or the DZO. Any one of them should be able to explain to you why the exit order is what it is at Perris.     I don't think that it's silly at all. Is any of the performance lost because it's a newbie who may not be able to control it? I don't think so. Is a Ferrari any less of a performance car when driven by a 16 year old with a freshly minted license?     Unfortunately, concerns like this one aren't made up; Beverly wasn't sitting around one day thinking "what's the worst that could possibly happen?". Concerns like Beverly's are here because things have happened in the past.     The only way you're going to decrease pack volume is to decrease the amount of material in the parachute. Not such a great idea on reserves, I think. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. - Jim "Like" - The modern day comma Good bye, my friends. You are missed.
