  1. What does that mean? This post (and the rest of that thread) may help explain it. Eule UntamedDog? Is that you? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  2. Think I just found the solution! http://www.mastergardening.com/cei-1000.html Anyone have one and care to comment on its effectiveness? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  3. ***He jumps a 6' fence. The highest fence you can have in our area. Quote I also had a dog who bounded over our 6 foot chain-link fence. It also is the highest fence allowed in our area. What to do? He was an outside dog (Australian Shepherd/Border Collie mix). Beautiful dog. We got him a playmate. Worked for 2 days. Then he was back up and over the fence again. Did a little research and invested in a very humane remedy. A "Fido Shocker". They can come with insulators that attach easily to chain link fences. Took less than 1/2 hour to connect around our large back yard. Problem solved. PS: You can also find it in your local feed store. It's not the powerful electrical fence for a horse. A very mild one for 'Fido'. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  4. My neighbor's cats do! Every day. I actually find the solution on the dog quite powerful. Didn't hurt the dog at all, but brought the message home to the owner (I hope). Me thinks this wasn't the first time 'fido' wandered away. Once or twice the neighbor could have stomached it. A consistent bothering -is- annoying. I also agree that the dog needs protection. I pass smashed dogs on the freeway quite often on my way to work. Don't know if they were 'wanderers' or truck-bed riders (without restraint is illegal here in my county) that got thrown out. Very very sad either way. IMHO it wasn't done maliciously at all. Sounds like the owner had been contacted before (probably by many different neighbors). It's just another way of making a point (without beating up the neighbor or actually doing physical harm to the dog). Calling the animal shelter can lead to death (at least around here). On a very personal note, my sister's little terrier was attacked by a neighbor's dog just before Christmas. Broken ribs, ripped side, punctured lung. Did the owner of the other dog keep the dog at home after that? NO! Just last month it came after my sister's dog again (ON MY SISTER'S PROPERTY AGAIN) and killed her dog. Once out, an owner's mistake. Consitant problem....owner's neglect. Now back to the cats who poop on my lawn..... ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  5. Interesting. Wasn't it just today, on NPR, the military announced that it was going to use YouTube to show -their- version of the war in Iraq. They're tired of the American public only being fed what the new agencies choose to display. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  6. Had a rabbits foot as a kid (probably have it somewhere around here, in a box). Also loved the part of the commercial where they're having the rabbits swim to build strength. Priceless. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  7. Actually was looking for the new 'Rabbit's Foot' commercial they just showed tonight. Found this one instead. Love the ending line! http://www.boardsmag.com/screeningroom/commercials/3005/ "He Can Fly...But...!" ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  8. Just have kids. The same thing will happen when they're young. I remember bites showing up in the stick of butter left on the table between meals. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  9. You're not alone. In fact, check out one of our BOD members and her rough start to our sport. Click on her link in her bio entitled "To Scared to Jump". http://makeithappen.com/wis/bios/meyerjan.html ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  10. Whats the name and location of this place? See post #29. Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  11. Thanks! I'll have to give them a try. Sounds yummy.
  12. Well, SkydiveRadio of course!
  13. If we're still talking about Perris, there aren't any In and Out Burger joints down here. However, there is one about a 15 minute drive north, off hwy 60.
  14. Which Thai restaurant are you referring to? There are several ones in the Redlands/San Bernardino area. I love Thai food and have sampled quite a few of the places around there. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  15. The HD Tv I have give you 3 options in it's set-up. 1) Stretch to make all pictures 'appear' wide screen (what you possibly were seeing). 2) Have everything in the normal (old, now) mode (squishing the new wide-screen down to fit what the other stations are broadcasting). 3) Have the tv recognize what the station is broadcasting and match the screen to what is best. (this is what I use). It was great when CBS (channel 2 here) went HD this week. The screen filled out completely with sharp resolution for the first time. Very nice. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  16. Bonehead's moved up to Rider Street. Sorry to say, but the Italian place went Messican too. Not sure if they even kept the jail cells. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  17. Bill, Of the few beers I sampled on that day after the DZ I really found one I liked at Lost Abbey. In looking at their selection I -thought- the one I liked the best was Red Poppy, but I distinctly remember it having apricot in it, not cherry. Would you happen to know which one it was?

    NAB?

Believe me, they pay (again) for it. Another burning is not for free. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  19. BWAHAHA! I was thinking the same thing. I'd quit my job tomorrow if that was a given!! Notice it's just above "Rodeo Clown"... ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  20. That's what I was hoping to hear! Nothing like first hand testimony.
  21. Thanks for the info! I believe the work will be done in about 3 weeks to a month, when the custom windows are made. Just placed the order 2 days ago. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  22. You can always hook your camera up to the tv to show them the pictures. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  23. You mean, just place new insulation over the current stuff? I don't have to remove the old (blown) insulation? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

    NAB?

Exactly what I was pondering. Student: "Hey cameraflyer! I messed up my DVD you gave me of my first skydive 2 months ago. Can you burn me a new one?" Cameraflyer: "Uh, sorry, no. I copied (several) new skydives over that card last month". ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  25. Wow! Thanks! Now I'm really thankful I hired a professional to install the windows for me. I had a co-worker who kept insisting I could do it on my own ("It's EASY to do", he said). I like the security that if anything wrong comes up I have a warranty to fall back on. Lifetime. I've walked around and talked to some of my neighbors who have put in retrofit windows and all are happy with them (so far). Different manufacturers, different installers. Different size windows, etc. In fact, I have the largest windows on the block! My front window is 114" wide and my back window is 140" wide. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
