Very true! I was shocked that Ramsey would purposely be that cruel. I like Rock and believe he deserves to win this thing. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

What summer flowers are blooming this year at your house?
ltdiver replied to ltdiver's topic in The Bonfire
Was browsing the internet, looking at bulb flowers (seems that these are the hardest to kill, since I lack the green-thumb talent for most plants). My eyes nearly popped out when I saw the price on this white flower. http://www.bluechopsticks.com/product.asp?prodid=9533&fer=4 Think I won't risk it on this one... ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -

I like the pot the Zinnia is in! Very pretty. Which reminds me, I have to get my potted plants out of the sun. They're getting sunburned. Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -

Oh, those are weeds from -my- neighbor's house that keep blowing over here. They seem to like to plant their 'seeds' in my newly turned up flower bed. My old dog just doesn't get the pleasure she used to in keeping those weeds from taking root here anymore. I like looking at them in my neighbor's yard. Heck, even going over and playing with them myself there from time to time. They're lovely, and come in many different varieties. However, they keep growing and growing, and multiply every year. I think she has about 20 varieties at her house now. To quote my (botanist) sister. "A weed is just a plant out of place". Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -

Lilly of the Nile (or Agapanthus as it's scientific name labels it). It's still blooming in my picture. Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -

Had fun reading what summer veggies you are all growing this year in your garden! My tomatos are pleatiful, but not yet ripe. Alot of cucumbers have graced my salads already, but the red peppers are just now starting to show. It'll be some time before they turn their proper color. Just planted some more flowers last sunday in my backyard. They're still rooting, but the flowers are still there from their original bloom. Day Lillies (yellow and red), Peonies, Mexican Heather, Japanese Blood Grass, Star Jasmine, Vanilla Symphony, Calibrichoa, and Snowflake. (the last 2 are in the wishing well planter). I woke this morning to the very first Morning Glories blooming (planted them from seed a couple of months ago). The perenials are blooming like crazy now! Jacob's Ladder. Potato Vine. Mini-Roses (Child's Play and another one I can't remember the variety). Garlic flowers, Blue Star Creeper, and Blue Bird. Lily of the Nile's just now starting to bloom. Crepe Myrtle (tree) is blooming like crazy! A few annuals are holding strong in the heat. Marigolds, and Peonies are very pretty. Spring flowers are about done. Iris, Calla Lilies, Tiger Lillies, Bottle Brush (bush-like). Camelias are just starting to bud. Flowers to come in another few weeks. -
I have two 22's that I use. Good camera. As to what you need to use it in skydiving depends some on -how- you want to use it. RW? Freefly? Tandem? CRW? For myself I do all but freefly with my camera. I top mount with a Bonehead dbox and a Sony .6 lens. Cam-Eye II for an indicator. Ringsite (open) is my choice (only have one usable eye, so don't want to block it's vision). The Newton concentric ringsite is the one of choice at my home DZ. Hope this helps. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Yes and Yes. Love the text typing, too! Everything set-up like a keyboard, without having to punch a button 3 times to get to the letter "C". Video editing. How'd you know! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Went and played with one this afternoon. Very cool. If not for the price I would have walked out with one instantly. Love the features and the fact that the apps are ones I use already on my Mac. It's like a mini-computer for your pocket! Hmmmm....my parents are always commenting they don't know what to get me for Christmas. Think verson2 will be out by then? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
