  1. Okay, Okay, Okay.... I know it's not anywhere near the 4th month of the year, but save this one for later..... Computer Start-Up ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  2. This was on the news a couple of nights ago. The video they showed was horrible. From the balloon in flight, fully engulfed, to streamering in...disappearing behind the trees, still aflame. Mother and adult daughter perished. ~Shudder~ ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  3. He posted here as well: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=2928115;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;;page=unread#unread Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  4. The question wasn't directed at the OP. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  5. Thanks for bringing some maturity to this thread. Why is it that people tend to be so impatient when it comes to this topic? The sky will always be there. Why rush? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  6. According to this video it's called "recapping". Interesting concept. ltdiver You can recap your current tires if you wish. The reason you don't? It's a shitty process prone to failure at high speed. Sorry. Guess the sarcasm didn't come through.... (should have put "Interesting concept"in quotes) ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

  9. Did you feed it lately? j/k Just like DSE, what I've always found is that firewire (1394) is used for uploading video. USB can be used for uploading .jpg from the camera's memory card. Happy to hear you found a solution that works for your equipment.
  10. And he's delayed yet again.... http://www.canada.com/saskatoonstarphoenix/news/local/story.html?id=33bc61fa-64da-4b5c-8e5d-20adc5d3b472 ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  11. Grew up on the (American) Heinz Beans you have shown in your picture. They were a must at every picnic we had. Never thought about having them for breakfast, though. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  12. Amazing! Talk about a dream. Wow. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  13. So, the first iPhone bills are hitting the mail. Take a look at this blogger and her first taste of tree killing! http://www.thepittsburghchannel.com/news/13898996/detail.html The video's cute, too. http://www.tastyblogsnack.com/2007/08/13/iphone-bill/ Did I say, "Save a tree"? How about a FOREST!!! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  14. I have a co-worker who is visiting Equador on a healthcare mission trip. Wonder if she felt anything from Peru's earthquake. http://images.google.com/imgres?imgurl=http://www.map-of-south-america.us/south-america-map.gif&imgrefurl=http://www.map-of-south-america.us/&h=710&w=634&sz=55&tbnid=PPYaN_nB_kciRM:&tbnh=140&tbnw=125&prev=/images%3Fq%3Dmap%2Bsouth%2Bamerica%26um%3D1&start=1&sa=X&oi=images&ct=image&cd=1 ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  15. in 2005 JFTC took their business elsewhere and avoided the Days Inn at Perris. It was scary by any standards, with undesirables hanging out and incidents happening to people staying there. Reservations were made at a couple of motels in Hemet, a town just east of Perris. Nothing but good reports from staying there. Googled them for you: http://www.google.com/search?client=safari&rls=en&q=hotels+Hemet+California&ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8
  16. My suggestion: Try a different canopy first. I see by your profile you fly a Sabre-150. This canopy has been known to open quite hard on occasion and if you value your neck it'd be best to try, say, something the likes of a Spectre instead. (speaking as someone who has a friend who is now a quadriplegic from an opening on a Sabre-150) ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  17. Yes, it's about a 94 year old woman, skydiving for the first time. However, the rest of the story is what's worth the reading. IMHO, this woman has the right attitude on life.
  18. I have his birthday on my calendar here as well. It's been 3 months and the disbelief is still there. What a wonderful man, loving father, and terrific mentor. Rest in peace, dear friend. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  19. Fixed it for ya.... Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  20. Just a clarification. Your profile says you reside in the UK. Yet your camera is in NTSC. Any chance your computer is flipped over to PAL format accidentally? Anyone else been playing with your machine? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  21. Don't know about you, but when I read that I hear Chandler singing it... ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  22. Louis Armstrong's "What a Wonderful World". I just seems fitting....from way up there.
  23. Guess you weren't at Rantoul '05 when they were invited to check out the DC9.
