One of our videoflyers for the NSL meet here at Perris (yesterday) was using the PC105. The sharpness and color shown was awesome! No bleeding of the bright orange or pink jumpsuits in the frame. Upon looking up the camera on this site, it was humorous to see a new description of the AV in/out options. "Video Input/Output: Yes/Yes (Special, S-Video/A/V) Audio Input/Output: Yes/Yes (Stereo, Special)" You now have Special ports. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

I doubt it, since "Brain dopamine cells help control movement, emotional and cognitive responses, and the ability to feel pleasure", and this is what Ecstasy takes away... ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Ecstasy has also been found to hasten the onset of Parkinsons as well. Article HERE ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Too bad . . . you shouldn't have gone into politics.

Well if that's the case, it's remarkable that anything can be sold at a price under $13. Or do you believe there's something special about bobble-head dolls that requires higher infrastructure costs? Wayne No, maybe high lawyer retainer fees to defend when Arnold decides to sue. Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -
A cameraflyer at Perris almost lost his FTP just after opening this weekend. Normal opening, and head up to watch his opening (yeah, he does this and lucky he did this time!)....then when he looked back down his helmet rolled off his head! Lucky for him he had a very quick reaction to this and actually CAUGHT his helmet (and $3,000 worth of cameras)!! He placed his helmet back on his head, cinched it down, and continued with this flight down. Upon inspection of what -might- have gone wrong to let this happen (He HAD closed the latch before exit), he determined that the latch in back that closes the helmet -can- be closed incorrectly. If the tab is -not- completely down in the groove....if it perhaps is at an angle and not fully engaged, then it can (and will) release on its own. He now runs his ungloved finger across the latch to make sure it is seated correctly before exit. Something to think about! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Instructors and Personal Assets, law suit question

Agreed. However, if a DZ supplies 'workers compensation insurance' to their jumpmasters and instructors, does this automatically classify them as having an employer/employee relationship? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -
All I can say to cameraflyers is, "Watch you head". ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Yeah...you'd think, since it was designed with skydiving in mind, that it might have some sort of high horizontal stabilizer at the top of the rudder. I guess they've found it's not a problem, though. I really like it. Maybe Mikkey can give us some input. His DZ in Australia was supposed to get one in January. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Perris..Is this a normal practice or one time thing?

Very cute, b^2! By the look in her eyes, she already adores you.

Yes, mixing tape brands is the worst scenario. IMHO, a camera should be subjected to the BEST brand and not depart from it. From my experience, Sony tapes have never given me -any- problems to date. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Yeah, I realized this fact. I was just poking fun and thinking along the lines of pilots having to 'cut the engines' on jump run to 'break in' the new camera flyers standing there. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Wow! Happy Birthday, girl!

Cool! So, what does 'Cut Here to Break In' mean? Is it something printed only in Estonia? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Then I guess you already know the USPA BSR in regards to minimum opening altitudes listed: 2-1.G. Your 'hard deck' minimum should be 3,000', not 2500. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

So, we're guessing that the number '10' in your profile is -not- your correct jump number? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Just be careful of those plastic water bottles. Instead, I use a Lexan water bottle, which has been tested and FDA approved to be a much better way of toting your water around. I have one sitting on my desk at work every day (with filtered water from my home) and drink at least 1-2 32oz bottles every day. :^) ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Yes, there is a big difference in brand names when it comes to tapes. I won't play anything but Sony tapes in my cameras and have never had a problem. There are different coatings from tape to tape and perhaps your TDK left alot of deposits on the play heads of your camera...in a sense, gunking it up. Try using a tape head cleaner and upgrading tapes to something a bit more 'clean' in the future. At least that's my take on the subject. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
