  1. Try doing a 'search' here on this forum. It's been discussed before. However, just realize that a change of this value will void your Rebel's warranty. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  2. Since speed scares the begeezus out of me, I'd thought of taking a tandem drouge with me and inflating -that- behind me on the downhill ski slope. Oh, I've skied before, but only been able to stop by falling down when the speed gets going. As I said, flying downhill with all that speed is scary! Might work for students such as me that would really like to learn how to snow ski! That, or put sticky wax on the bottom of the skies to slow me down until I learn! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

  7. If you look on the upper trunk of the tree by Square One you'll see a 'Spank!' sticker plastered there. Not sure who christened the tree, but I use it at the start of my tandem videos now. Wonder what the students say about it when they see it for the first time! Congratulations Spank and South Parc! It was great meeting you at Perris! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
  8. Hey! Oh, and btw, 2 of the last 3 Nationals I picked up a 4-way team by e-mail, jumped with them just the day before Nationals started, and it worked out great! No 'J's'!

  13. As I've said, I've never had any problem with any of the TRV's I've owned. TRV8, TRV10, TRV22. As for the 33....Don't think anyone at my DZ flies one of these. The 22 does just fine.

  17. Negative. It was done after. Nice try though. Keep living in denial. Your first statement might be correct. However, why do you have to follow-up with nasty remarks? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

  24. Not directed at you, Nightingale, but everyone who's posted this advice. Perhaps linny's job doesn't have an HR department. Some companies are so small that the 'HR' department is just your boss....the one who hired you. Let me explain with a situation that I found myself in 2 years ago. (Long explanation on how I got there and why I stayed for 6 months....but that's not relevant to this discussion). I had a job as a therapist in a very small out patient clinic. The man who hired me, my boss, was a nice man and very good at his profession. His wife was his secretary (and HR department). His receptionist was good at what she did, but was a very hostile person towards me (still don't know why). She infected the rest of the personel, even though they were clueless on her insecurities. (looking back, I'm convinced she was an undiagnosed, untreated bipolar) The whole situation became so hostile that I had to find another job and leave this good paying job. HR department couldn't control the situation...if fact they joined in. My boss, the man who hired me, couldn't control them either....and actually apologized for their behavior and said he hated to lose me, but didn't know what to do (about them). Their 'leader' was his wife. So, my advice to linny is to find another job (any job) to get her out of the reach of this man and this company. Any stress in the form of threats cannot be endured. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
