Manufacturers will do this for you, during production, for a price. They know the material and what works along side the wearing of the canopy fabric. Let them do it. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Caddell: Dan Rather May Have Cost Kerry the Election
ltdiver replied to Steel's topic in Speakers Corner
Now I'm jealous! I learned (in 9th grade-1978) on THIS lovely gem! Seriously. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -
Was listening to a radio program the other day who reported that pieing someone with a pie shell full of shaving cream was a better way to go than using whipped cream! Seems that the shaving cream washes off easily (on all surfaces) and doesn't create that infernal stink that lingers for days! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

I used to go to the Rennaissance Faire here in So. CA all the time! Great fun!! We used to get in for free if we dressed up in period garb. :^) Bring back some bawdy stories and jokes, k?! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Don't let it fool you. They prioritize all the time. 1) Age 2) Education 3) Wealth 4) Intelligence 5) Connections Oh, wait...we weren't talking about the Socialist system, were we? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

I had a patient who helped design the mirror for the Hubble Space Telescope. He kept telling them they were grinding it incorrectly, but they wouldn't listen. Guess who they came back to to fix the snaffu after it was already in space?! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

REALLY?! Must be traveling in the dead of night, then. Oh, but wait a minute....that's when CAL-TRANS and their lovely freeway construction work takes place! Car Pool, if ya can. That's the best way. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

See you next weekend, then! I'll be at Perris with my team, doing the team training thang. We can't make it to Elsinore's SSL, so we'll be doing the draw at home.

Agreed. Yet....not sure how much Larry's been saving to get this project done since our wind tunnel went up. Envy and Jealousy go a long way towards motivation. This is going to be interesting.

You're right. I posted the info. I planted the seed. Paul bit first. He gets the prize.

Nope, girlie. I posted it first. Was just waiting for the first bite from the nay-sayers for the opening date. That's why I cut and pasted it. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Anybody wanna place some bets? Especially in this HEAT! It was over 103 degrees F here in Southern CA today. Wonder what AZ was! I got the date of February 3 that they finish it. Anybody else? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Whoa...I didn't know that flavor was "seasonal"...hmmm...creative marketing Haven't heard of Pitch Black until this thread. Gotta try it soon. I like the original.

Take time to read the entire article. Nice write up on Larry Hill and what Skydive AZ has done for the local businesses and economy.

Should I try to replace the internal lens assembly myself?
ltdiver replied to lewmonst's topic in Photography and Video
I have learned (the hard way) to go directly to a real Sony repair station. I tried to use an "Authorized Sony Service Center" in Burbank (independently owned and operated) in hopes of getting faster (and perhaps cheaper) service. Unfortunately, they diagnosed the most expensive part to replace and then sent it back (supposedly repaired) with it having the exactly same problem!!! I sent it back and 4 months later they -still- hadn't diagnosed the problem....so they sent it to a REAL Sony repair station (in San Diego somewhere) who diagnosed it correctly, fixed it, and sent it back. THEY charged the Burbank quack-pots for the 2nd repair and didn't inflict another one on me. Camera fixed. Now it's my 2nd camera for Nat's. Total: Over $300 and 6 months of waiting. Sorry about your pc330. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -
Yep. Say....aren't you supposed to be working in the heat right now?!? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Ah, so -that's- what happened during my work day! I got the "Organize Your PM's Screen" this morning but had to jet off to work....saved it for this evening, but when I got home and tried to work with it it was gone! Gone, I say! Love your tinkering, HH. Guess we'll need to be a bit more patient until your next gift arrives. Thanks in advance!

What anti-fog solution do you use on your camera lens?
ltdiver replied to rylord's topic in Photography and Video
Yeah, same here I should say in Okie-homa. Cat crap works well for freefall, but my canopy ride is usually fogged up no matter what I use. Then I simply wipe the lens off with a cleaning cloth I keep in my pocket when I land so I can tape the AFF and tandem's landings. I also reapply every trip up. Damn, I'm glad I live in CA! Carry Cat-Crap but have only had to use it on the inside of my goggles. Humidity is quite low here.... ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
