It's a combo drive. Reads DVDs, reads and burns CDs. Yes, I believe that's what I said. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

iBook is good for a starter machine. :^) Don't think it has a DVD writable drive. Just reads them. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

I'm assuming this is a Powerbook? Not a desktop? Didn't know they made a 14" in a PB. Or if it's a desktop, then why the battery life mentioned? Also, the DVD-CDRW Combo Drive...make sure its a read/write for the DVD. If not you'll wish in the near future it was. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Welcome! Now, looking at your iPod picture, you need to invest in a decent digital camera next! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

And chase after their butts! You've been dreaming about that since last month, huh? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Exactly. Do I need to explain the differences between meat eaters, non-red meat eaters, vegetarians, and vegans? I'm a meat eater, but there's no way that's a vegetarian meal. I'll second those sentiments! My vegetarian family has a tradition of making a gluten roast from scratch each and every Thanksgiving. It takes alot of love and 2 days to make it....but when it's done it's sure yummy!!

Thought of this exactly when I heard about this this week. Wonder what our billvon thinks of this! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Another article with a different story on what happened and exactly WHO was hopping mad about the incident. I heard the broadcast of the incident on the way to work this morning. Even on the radio it was -very- skanky in it's tone. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Sore neck - how to make it better?
ltdiver replied to el_chester's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I was going to say, "quit necking", but your response is much better. A proper diagnosis from a qualified orthopedist followed by physical therapy can greatly reduce your time of recovery. Plus, as P.T.'s we love to educate you on proper ways of avoiding injury again. -
That was -so- funny! And you're right...exactly what it's like (with a large bird). My grandfather had a parrot that would, as soon as let out of it's cage, chase my mom around the house..shrieking and trying to bite her leg. Then when she was 'tree-ed' up on a chair the bird would circle like a hungry tiger, bobbing it's head up and down. That SNL skit was priceless! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Do the lefties here really want Michael Moore representing them?

So, should THIS have been censored then? ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon -

Looks like alot of people still prefer our great country and wish to join us in the land of opportunity. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/6489930/ And of course, we both know of several skydivers who have opted out of their country and joined ours as well...either by defection or marriage. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Thanks for the laugh, Dom! I had to avoid a bay hail a few weeks ago. It was either hit it or turn and burn. Luckily the squishy stuff was all but dried up that day. Got pictures?

Didn't tune in in time to see Smith but DID just catch Kobe Bryant getting boo'd off the stage! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Today, in San Bernardino, CA a man unwittingly made a BASE jump with his motorcycle. He was riding around with his friends and fell 300 feet down a mine shaft! The news reports that they're having trouble getting down to him for rescue. Hope he's ok! 300 feet is a long way when you forget your parachute! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Wait until the weather can give you at least 2-3 weekends in a row to complete AFF and get a few solos in before a break. Trying to get everything in in just 1 weekend (as you posted in your poll) can be a bit cramped in all the information you have to absorb. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

I have a very good friend in Australia who, when he pronounced the word the first time that we heard, got alot of laughter and ribbing. Aluminium....gawf! (or it that -really- the king's english? ) ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Really?! What's the world coming to? Vegetarian egg nog!? ltdiver Can you really call it egg nog if there's no eggs in it? Wouldn't it be soy nog? Or maybe just 'snog'! ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon

Is it just a conspiracy theory or is it actually possible?
ltdiver replied to quade's topic in Speakers Corner
Way off topic, but there's a reason that you don't review your own code. You see what you expect to see, an independent set of eyes is essential to a proper code review. - Jim Same reason print houses have proof readers before a writer's copy goes to the presses. ltdiver Don't tell me the sky's the limit when there are footprints on the moon
