    We split up while I was in the process of getting the surgery. My health was pretty bad and I wasn't taking care of myself at all. I ended up in the ICU for 10 days on the verge of respatory failure. She couldn't watch the train wreck anymore. We are still friends.

    So there I was.... I got contacted by a magazine and the wanted some before pictures because they were considering doing a profile on me (gastric bypass surgery). I only had my DL picture. I called my ex-wife and she had a few from a xmas party. she sent them to me and to say I was floored would be an understatement. I had never seen myself like this nor do I remember looking like this. There was a lot of regret that I didn't take care of myself soon. Well it was what it was. Talk about wingloading...geeeezzzz. Well Blue skies now and good times.

    Wow. I just got my PC105 and I am stocked. $729 at centraldigital.com and no hassles at all. Very pleased. Saying that this is my first Camcorder. Yes I'll be buying the beer. Anyway I can tell I'm in deep on this. I would like to know... Which BASIC video editing software anyone would recommend. Also are there any basic books out there for beginners. Like a "Dummies" book. Thanks all. If your wondering no I am not helmet mounting it yet. Ed

    OK just purchased a PC-105 from Centraldigital.com This is the first time I purchased something over $100 from the internet and i'm nervous. Of course with all the selections I had in digital comcorders It seemed like it took me forever to decide which one to get. I'm pretty confident I made a good buy. Can anyone back me up on this? Ed

    So someone sent me this. Don't know if it true or not but entertaining. On one of my early AFF jumps I felt something in freefall. It was slapping against me and I didn't know what it was. I had thought the harness broke and I was gonna die. I pulled expecting the worst. When everything was ok I looked down and I realized what it was. The belt on the water gear had broke. Too funny when I think back on it. Take care Ed

    Believe it or not that wasn't my highest weight. I was about 450 pounds. 447 to be exact. I lost about 280. I think I might be about 375 in that photo.

    Watch it dude... Tranny shops are infamous for the $500 job that turns into the $2000 job. They'll give you and estimate of $500 and of course it will require an overhaul once they have torn it down. Classic... I see it all the time.     I had a root canal done once and the threw in a temp filling because of an infection. I tried to jump that weekend and my head felt like it was going to explode on the way up to altitude. They told me at the time it was probably ok to jump. I'm having a bunch of dental work done now. One more root canal and crowns. It will take several weeks more until it is all over. They say Jul 8th. Does anyone think it would be ok to jump or should I wait for the permanent stuff to go in? Experiences??? Ed
