Please help me :( I need legal advice...vibes :(
bch7773 replied to VanillaSkyGirl's topic in The Bonfire
You can always ask the DA to not accept the plea bargain, if there is one. If there was a plea bargain, the DA can turn it down, which usually means he will get a longer sentence, but lots of times they push for a plea bargain since it makes the courts move faster. If there's not a plea bargain, I'm not sure what else you can do besides tell the DA you want the max sentence. You can always do a civil lawsuit, and/or get a restraining order. I think the restraining order will be pretty easy to get if he gets convicted of a crime against you. of course, i'm not a lawyer, but i just thought I would throw out some ideas. and I'm really sorry to hear this happened to such a nice person like you. Assholes like him give guys a bad name. MB 3528, RB 1182 -

it depends on how bad yours are. The luckiest people have room for them and they aren't impacted, so they don't get them removed. The next luckiest are the people who just don't have room for them... if they aren't impacted, then the removal isn't usually that bad. A woman i know had 4 removed and wasn't even put under. they just used novacaine and gave her tylenol. she was talking normally the next day Now the poor suckers are the ones with impacted ones. This usually means the dentist has to make bigger holes, or root around in your gums. In my case, the impacted one fragmented when he was getting it out, and he really made a big hole finding all the peices. But I was kinda lucky, and only had 3, and didn't get dry sockets... so I was eating normal food and talking almost normally the next day. you just gotta chew with your front teeth like a rat for a while. I've always wondered what would happen if someone were to act like they are stupid, and they play along, and then when the cashiers check comes in, deposit it and do nothing. even though you won't get the money, the asshole who sent you this will have to keep emailing you trying to get your money, he will probably start threatening lawsuits and you can just laugh at him. I think it would just be nice to make him go through all that trouble for nothing. And keep making up excuses how western union won't let you ship the money to his agent, and so could you have his real address please so you can ship it there... and if he actually gives you it, tell the police. actually at my college club, we've noticed before how many engineer students skydive. And most of them are considered pretty nerdy. We decided because they are more likely to trust their lives to a device. but beats me why computer geeks skydive. I guess the real answer is that there isn't so many of em, but you just have more of em on a website like dropzone.com. MB 3528, RB 1182

well of course the refined artificial sugars such as splenda or nutrasweet aren't really processed in your body at all. The reason they are no calorie is because they aren't being broken up and used for energy, like normal sugar. They basically just pass right through you. I think whoever said that they are left-handed molecules may be on the right track... I think the technical term though is "stereoisomer" but if you were asking if raw cane sugar is better for you than white refined sugar, beats me. I would just guess that they basically are processed the same. I think refined white sugar is used more quickly in your body, so you get more of a sugar rush with it. MB 3528, RB 1182

ummm when I'm reading that story, I don't see anything about it being on its back??? it says it's not transmitting properly, but thats it. MB 3528, RB 1182
