I don't get to say this very often, but I totally agree with you on this one billvon. before the war, we were supposed to fight iraq for a zillion reasons, mainly WMDs. now afterwords, about the only thing we can claim to have done is remove sadam from power, which is a good thing, except for the fact that our allies are more distant, the muslim world hates us even more, and a few thousand people were killed, including 500 americans. oh and according to some people on here, apparently that means we get cheaper gas MB 3528, RB 1182

I basically agree with what some of the people have said so far. If a real war, (i.e. not if we decide to invade iran because we think they have WMDs) but more like if uhhh north korea actually fired a couple nukes at the US, I would gladly participate in the draft. However, at this point and time, I think that a draft to support this invasion of iraq for "Freedom" would be stupid, and I am totally against it. If we really need that many more soldiers in iraq to finish this, then maybe bush shoulda looked at the numbers before we invaded. I'm not worried about this current bill, however, since it seems pretty unlikely to pass. And I'm totally against manditory military service, like in china. Freedom means choice, and that means we shouldn't be forced into the military or some bs park ranger job. and if you ask me, if they need more people in the military, try paying them better. you are getting too hung up on the word "expire". the water doesn't actually turn into something else, or become bad. The expiration date is because statistically, after a certain amount of time the organisms in the water can start to grow to the point of noticeable, or the bottle lining can start to degrade. these can both affect the taste and sterilness of the water. I have seen jugs of boiled water start growing algae after a few months of sitting sealed. no it wasn't bottled commercially, but you would expect boiled water to stay clean for longer than a few months. you'd probably be fine drinking it. especially if it was in a dark, cool place, like a cabinet. because if it was in a sunny spot, the sunlight will help microscopic nasties grow in there. basically it comes down to how bad your asthma is. I have very, very mild asthma, and I haven't had a problem with skydiving or scuba with it. My sister has moderate asthma, a few attacks a week, and she went scuba diving with no problem. well, except for the busted eardrum, but thats another story. MB 3528, RB 1182

oh god my roomate really likes those things. He spends about 12 hours a day playing one its called ever winter world or something. I'm not kidding either, he plays it from when he gets back from classes till about 3 am. he even does his homework while playing it. MB 3528, RB 1182

I don't know how to get rid of em without killing em. frankly, I wish gophers would die at our dz. last week i landed with my foot in one of their holes... nearly broke it but if you do decide to kill em, just pour some bleach down the hole, then some ammonia down after that, and cap the hole. instant gopher death.
