If I tell a cop he may open fire in a situation....Then I can't bitch he did it. The President asked for permission to use force and the Congress gave it to him. Plain and simple. They worded it so they could later claim they never did such a thing. But if you have a a problem with giving the gun to a cop since you don't trust his judgement, you don't vote to give him the gun. Wait a tick....YOU drive an old Ford Taurus. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Nice try, but I am talking about the Senators that voted to use force.... Yes you are trying to be green, and you are just flat out wrong. Wow, I have my own personal stalker....Just can't stay away from me huh? Keep fishing lady. OH and last I checked while you are trying to be green....I don't give a shit what you think. No it would be silly if you voted to *use* them, then when we did get all upset. Edit...Quade if you took offense thinking I was calling you an idiot sorry...I meant the Senators. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

They voted to use force. Really simple. They allowed the use of force. If they were mislead, that is a seperate issue to the fact that they are our representatives and they voted to use force to oust Saddam. It kills me when people try to use the "I didn't vote for it" card. Bill, if I give a cop a gun and permission to use it ....I can't later say he had no right. And only an idiot would try and make that distinction. Thats silly that you would vote to ALLOW but not want it. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

And so did Congress when they voted to allow force. Like it or not "We" did want Saddam out according to our elected officials. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

I had more fun flying an Ultralight or a J3 just flying around fields sometimes chasing deer than I ever had in a twin. Flying the twin with retracts and such is a nice way to get somewhere and it makes you feel like a "real serious" pilot. But flying a light slow plane low with the doors off and the wind in your face is another type of flying. I prefer the second. Some like the first. If I had the billions this guy had I'd have all kinds of flying stuff....Jets to Ultralights. Never thought you were....And yes in a black death kinda way it is ironic that this billionaire died in a tiny cheap plane. I just thought I would fill in a little more about the man. Who is to say he didn't have those also? He just died in an Ultralight. If you have ever flown an Ultralight they are quite fun and perfect for just puttering around and sightseeing. Also one thing about most of the Waltons....Both this guy and Sam were pretty down to earth. John was big into schools....He even cleaned the bathroom of one school since it was dirty once. His dad Sam drove the same pickup for 20-30 years. Ubber rich, but very down to earth. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Oh I am getting your point. Some people find it offensive, so why not ban it? Why would you want Malcom X's symbol? Why would you want the little support our troops ribbon? Why would someone put the USPA wings on their car? Why have a cross? Why have a Star of David? All of these are symbols, and all of them are offensive to someone. If you want to ban everthing that upsets your delicate sensabilities....There would be nothing left. People use symbols to express an attachment. And unlike what some think the Confederate flag is not about racism, so why focus on banning it? Might as well ban Crosses, The Star of David, The "X" of Malcom X, the troop supprt ribbons, the aids awareness ribbons, breast cancer ribbons, Human rights watch flag, the gay pride rainbow....I could go on for days at symbols that others don't like but should not be banned. Why the hard on for the Confederate flag? Edit: I also think you are trolling. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

No it means you will be dead, nothing more. And dying is easy, living without money or injured is hard....Being injured and without money is worse. Its this "Cutaway" and "Live in the now" attitude that is fucking up this Country. People are selling their future for the now, only to get to the future and regret it. Bad move. Who did more good? And who's business is it who gave what? I'd rather the US tell most of the world to sod off and fix our problems. Too many want the US to fix EVERYONES problems. Some can claim we have a responsibility....But I think we should fix ourselves first. But these socialist countries with their 46% tax rates demand the US gives MORE? Fuck them. Again I ask who the fucks business is it who gave what? OK how about the US gives more period? It does. No one ever wants to talk about that, no they look for the angle that helps the US look bad. Neptune....So easy to use. Never had a problem with mine. I STILL don't know how to use a Pro track/ Pro dyter, and I taught myself how to use the Neptune without a manual. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Good quiz.... Might want to just use "Bigger and Smaller" or "1.5 and 1.2 WL" Instead of canopies "A" and "B". "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Like Kelp said if you want to use 1961 for Vietnam, then use 1991 for Iraq. If you take the same level of commitment, and troop mission, Iraq's deaths are less than Vietnam. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Yes, and while it is nice to give, how much in real dollars is that %? I mean would you rather get 10,000.00 from me, or would you prefer 1% of my salary? Also who's business is it how much you, me , or anyone gives? It is a really stupid thing to measure. "Well, Bob is better than Steve since he gives 15% to the Church." What a fucked up way to measure a persons worth. It done by a bunch of busy bodies. Still, Americans think in terms of Raw dollars...And in raw dollars we gave more than anyone else. And yes, I would like to see more money spent on the US first. One really nice step would be to quit giving aid to all these other countries. Stop giving FEDERAL money to Africa to deal with Aids...Spend that money instead here in the US for finding a vacine, or a cure. Stop being Japans major defense force. Let them pay for their own military...I can find all kinds of stuff to drop. Why did we offer 857 billion dollars in aid to anyone when we have people dying here in the US? Derek, I can agree. But I don't think anyone getting a rating by just passing the USPA class will be able to do anything more than be allowed to perform the job. Instructors and not going to be made by the USPA no matter what the course, or how fast, of slow they take the course. It is the individual that will make themselves an Instructor.....Not a course. So like I said if the canidate gets his ticket (even if it is just one a year or every two years) and thinks he knows it all....Then he will suck no matter how long it took. If the guy gets the "permission slips" in two weeks, but then works on being a good "I"...It will not matter how fast he gets the permission, he will become a good "I". I still work on being better everyday. "No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms." -- Thomas Jefferson, Thomas Jefferson Papers, 334

Whats it you say about looking at the source? You slammed one source about MWD since it was from scarykerry.com But you use a graph to prove your point from Lies.com Also he even uses in his own words from your own source: "Yes, I realize that there were far fewer troops in Vietnam at this stage of the war than we currently have in Iraq. I grant that the two wars have followed very differerent scenarios so far." It was 1965 before troop levels in Vietnam were close to the level of the number of troops in Iraq. It was also 1965 when the first American troops attacked IN the North. One is the number of deaths of "advisors" vs the number of deaths of 130,000 troops IN a combat area. You can't really compare the two. If you compare the same number of troops with the same situation (or as close as you can get) you have Vietnam in 1965 with 150 dead/mth going to 600 dead per mth in 66. Thats one year of major combat with 150 troops fighting in a foreign land. For Iraq we have not gone over 150/mth at all. You have to compare apples to apples. 30+ people a year get killed. I bet they all thought they would be fine. No one plans on getting hurt, yet it happens all the time. Is the risk to your future and your dreams worth risking for some fun now? Take up another hobby, learn to fly a plane.
