no jumps :( 11 games of good volleyball played 3rd place in good tournament lots and lots of alcoholic beverages consumed 750 miles driven and one big-ass hotel party full of tall volleyball guys and girls!!!! i love it, almost as much as skydiving. hmmmm... i've been here before. I went to install myself a new stereo/cd player in my Jeep Wrangler, took the whole dashboard apart and found all the necessary wires and figured out what was supposed to connect to what, not hard. then i was sure how to connect the wires... I figured you just cut them, stripped them and twisted together with tape or something. but there were these extra connectors that came with the stereo and i wasn't sure what to do with those, like have half of a puzzle piece. I decided instead of chancing it by cutting anything, i'd just take it to a Best Buy and have some 15 yr old do it. When i got there, he laughed and said, "well you've done all the hard stuff, taking the dash off..." and he would let me watch (punkassmofo) becuase he wasn't "allowed" to let anyone else back there. But he said basically you do just that i thought, cut, strip and twist wires together. oh well, $25 later, i knew it was done right, and i learned a little somethin. peace http://www.exitshot.com

i've gotten the "Were those stickers on your jeep when you bought it?" and even after"how many times have you jumped?", i reply, and they still ask, "do you go by yourself?" and "do you pack your own parachute?" and "do you pull the chord yourself?" and one of my favorite sexist comments is "did your boyfriend get you started skydiving?" or "was he your instructor?" i wonder if some people ever realize how sexist or stupid they sound sometimes. peace http://www.exitshot.com

Arrggghh. I'm away learning to pack reserves for a night, get home, and the wife had the computers turned off! Chit! 381/400, should have my first unit in sometime today. that's funny... i've heard stories of someone who had computer problems and it took a while to figure out that she thought "shutting down" was turning off the power strip. she was doing this while applications were open and everything... tell her it's better for the computer to leave it running anyway. Hey Mandy, Kazaa is annoying, but Kazaa Lite kicks ass. The lite version does what you need from the full version, without any spyware or pop-ups or other required dowloads. I personally never download and programs from it becuase it's very risky. Anything that is a ".exe" can be anything, worst case scenario, a virus or something that destroys your hard drive... So while i will download mp3 doc or other file extensions i won't download a .exe from someone i don't know. So just be careful. i'd suggest make good friends with one of the Network Admins on here and ask for a copy of it that way. good luck. peace http://www.exitshot.com
