Yeah, we need to get katie back here cuase that MonkeyChucker called us at like 4:30... when Cajones didn't answer his phone, he called my phone, and i answered it unconsciously(?)... then i realized it wasn't a dream, it was CHUCK! all f*cked up... up to his antics again... i think we talked for like 10 minutes but i don't remember anything of what we said... like i said, i can do things while i'm still asleep, ask CA... So who knows. anyway, one of these days when i'm up late and piss drunk i'm going to remember to call his ass in the middle of the night! luv ya chuckie! peace http://www.exitshot.com

[fontsize=HUGE] HAPPY BIRTHDAY BETSY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I love my iRiver 190T. Check them out http://www.iriveramerica.com/product_index.htm. I love it becuase it's SOO lightweight, holds like 30 songs and has FM radio, which I'm impressed with the signal. I'm pretty ADD when it comes to music and working out, so i get tired of songs quickly, where lots of storage is helpful. And sometimes i just feel like cruising the radio, so it's perfect. I was stoked to get the armband, but as Cajones said, it's designed for arnold schwerzineger or something. I mean, i'm a pretty big girl and i got some muscles, and it's still loose around my bicep, so I couldn't use it to run with. So I'm sure it won't fit most chics arms. But it's so light and easy to hold in my hand that it's not a big deal. It's 32 grams without the 1 AA battery... incredible. The software is easy to use, and i just get songs off Kazaa Lite. I love it. It helps me run more so that's a good thing. We'd also recommend if you get it or whatever you get, go to BestBuy and get the warranty, it pretty much covers everything but cosmetic damage. peace http://www.exitshot.com

I feel sorry for those people, the assholes, for they seem incapable of finding happiness with whatever they do or whereever they go. As you did, I often take the opportunity to be extra nice to whomever they are assholes to and remind them that not everyone in the world is that way. peace http://www.exitshot.com

um, i'm here to defend sangiro on this personal attack. I believe we were all laughing at you Cajones becuase your goggles were on your forhead, and you were clinging to us with a death grip, until i reached over and put them back on your eyes.... now i can think of a jump where sangiro had way too much fun with another dz.commer... peace http://www.exitshot.com

Thanks Deuce! Yes, it is a community in which you have to prove yourself to even get on a good team... I love it. We still have fun when things aren't clicking... at least to me, i don't get stressed so much that i stop enjoying it, for what would be the point in playing. although i do get frustrated with people who suck or don't work hard enough, but then I don't ask them back to play on my team. it all works out. As promised... here is another action spandex photo. I have a great photographer too! and i'll throw in the family shot. the tourney was in my grandparents hometown, so my dad brought them by to watch. kewl eh? Gram is still amazed that we dive on the floor. peace http://www.exitshot.com

I have to agree with Hook here, and I respect Chris's post in that he was just concerned with a potential safety issue. I also very much appreciate the work Chris has done on the website in bringing information to us. I hope to never know the pain of losing a friend in an aircraft accident. Chris is not telling anyone what to do or not to jump, he's just informing us of facts. What we do with that information is our choice. I like the Fayards, CSS, and I have jumped Paul's planes a lot, and plan to continue jumping them whenever possible. I love having the Casa at Greene County in the summer. I have had nothing but good experiences with the Fayards, CSS, the Wests and SGC. Chris, thank you for your post. I have had all good experiences with the Nelson and the Otter's as well. And with pilot's who care like you do, I expect that to continue. Thanks! peace http://www.exitshot.com

High Anxiety - your thoughts please
lewmonst replied to A12's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
Way to go on making it through level 9... It sounds like you are facing you fears. Is your anxiety like butterflies of nervousness or fear of something fatally going wrong? It sounds like you might just be getting butterflies, like I used to get butterflies before i had to play basketball games in high school, performance anxiety. I'd also gotten them a little before a few skydives. I think i was more worried about messing up. Like forgetting what i was supposed to do, on either a coach jump or when I was jumping with a 5 way... For me, they went away with more jumps as I learned more, practiced more and gained confidence in my own skills... If your anxiety is more of a "oh my god what if i die..." then that's a bit different, and common in the beginning also. the more you learn about your gear and how it works helps with those anxieties. Also remember, some fear is good. You needs to have your wits about when you skydive. To be totally fearless can be dangerous. Just make sure you fear or anxiety isn't so much that it disables you. If you're so scared you can't think straight, then take a step back and ask yourself why you want to skydive. all that said, it sounds like you just have butterflies... keep jumping! learn as much as you can on the ground, observe, observe, observe... practice, practice, practice... peace http://www.exitshot.com -
Note to add... I got the bridge day videos from 2000, and they were late. But they also seemed like a hack job on editing. On my Landings tape, there was a section of landing that was repeated, and mine wasn't even on there. Delays I can understand, but i was not happy with the quality of the video and will not buy another vid from Will. peace http://www.exitshot.com

I've got it running on 98SE, ME, XP Pro, and XP Home. In fact, I've got it running on two XP Pro machines with no trouble. You might try again. Yeah, mine's on XP pro and works fine. you might want to try the console version (no pretty pictures). peace lew http://www.exitshot.com

i've died blue, green, purple, orange and red at different various times. I used manic panic, which worked well (i have dark blonde hair). I'd say go blue or green, course my favorite is green... definately don't do red, unless you plan to be able to cut it off. My red turned orange in about 3-4 weeks, then dark yellow, and has stayed yellow for 7 months... but on guys, hell you can shave it off or cut it off in a month... go crazy. peace http://www.exitshot.com

hey quit tryin to hijack my thread! since i know you all care about my volleyball so much, i thought i'd give you the recap on the day. Tournament was "Open" level (the hardest available) with 6 solid teams. We started out letting our 5-month pregnant libero play... and well, it was time for her to take herself out... with her playing, we were 0-4 against two teams that had no business beating us. so then we left her out, and i played kickass defense and we fought back to finish 4-4 in pool play and take 3rd in pool, just barely breaking to tournament round. We beat the 2nd place team in the Semi-finals and had a great match losing to our sister team in the finals. It was fun, 12 hard games later, i am very sore and very tired. I'll go through the photos and post some later, cuase i know you all want to see more spandex. btw, we chose our team name from an old WFFC shirt i wear occasionally, "Airgasmic" check out our team ranking(not updated from today...) Kattus is who won. nice eh? ok... i'll stop rambling now cause i know you're not still reading about this anyway peace http://www.exitshot.com

i don't want to start a debate or make you feel you need to defend yourself or your views. luckily in this country we all have a right to an opinion. i respect that. And i think we just see here that my views are different from yours. that's why i seek to surround myself with people who don't play games. the world is full of players. if you think the person you're involved with can't handle the truth, then you do not respect them. that's just how i see it. if that were the case with me, i would do us both a favor and find someone who was my equal. the outcome is certain, we will all die eventually. "the question is not whether we will die, but how we will live" it's all good... peace http://www.exitshot.com
