  1. that sounds like a great idea! I was just thinking of having whoever bid the most get to use the scissors and chop the ponytail. I'd worry about evening it out later... i never use a stylist, i just have cajones or my roommate get the scissors and hack away at it. it would be cool if publicity helped raise more money... what were you thinkin? thanks! peace http://www.exitshot.com
  2. hey just got back and found me on page 6... sorry about the tongue hanging out, i think my silly photos always turn out better than a cheesy smile. zenister, are you staying out of trouble??? ca and I worry about you sometimes.... i think i'll keep the long hair at least until Rantoul. maybe i can auction off who gets to cut 10 inches off... give that money to locks with the goldielocks... whatdya think? peace long-haired-hippie-lew http://www.exitshot.com
  3. thank you magic mike. makes me think of that bull rodeo in richmond a few boogie moons ago... mike, are you coming to Rantoul??? I'm thinking I'll at least keep it long until Rantoul, and maybe go for the 10 inches thereafter. but no worries mike or chuckie, i promise if i do cut it, i'll let it grow back to my waist again. bets, we be lovin you back. opie, come to richmond, who needs 3 otters anyway. i'll have a couple new toys i'm playing with this weekend. dragons are good peace http://www.exitshot.com

  5. Ok, i'm looking for serious replies here... those of you whom I've met especially, what do ya think? (see photos) i think I look bad with short hair... but i could lose some of it... edit to add link to Locks of Love. It "is a non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children across the U.S. under age 18 suffering from long-term medical hair loss" peace http://www.exitshot.com
  6. That is the best way to describe it. Last year we ran out of wristbands with 1000 made... I've been going for 4 years and it is awesome. 2nd largest boogie next to WFFC. Great Organizers, belly, freefly, Birdman... Great bonfires and parties at night. Lots of planes including Mullins (if his wing doesn't break like it did last year)... just be there. peace http://www.exitshot.com
  7. We get $35 to do video, but have to pay someone $10 to do the edit if we don't do it ourselves (non-linear). we provide our own mini-DV tapes, dz provides vhs tapes. i wonder if i'll ever pay off my video equipment... oh well. peace http://www.exitshot.com

  13. is there anyone on here from Cairns? i'm in the Oasis resort at cairns, thinking about getting out to a dz today or thursday. I picked up three brochures, but it's hard to tell what's a tandem factory and what places have experienced jumpers. i also need to rent gear. hope i can jump here, it's beautiful. anyone in cairns, reply to this or email me please. peace http://www.exitshot.com
  14. Hey all you Aussies, Jasmine, I'm missing you. t he school trip booked us full in Sydney, I've barely had time to check email in my hotel. We leave for Cairns tomorrow, and I have free time tomorrow, Tuesday, from Noon all day. I don't know if anyone jumps on Tuesdays in Cairns, but if you do, drop me an email or PM. I'd love to figure out a way out to the dropzone and meet some aussie skydivers. hope everyone is well.... this email kiosk sucks! Australia Rocks! peace http://www.exitshot.com
  15. Ok kids, I've got my Coolpix I'm firing away with here in New Zealand, until I ran out of battery today. Took the other off the charger and it had nothing either. Somewhere there's a bust in my little adapter/converter or charger. I've ot the Aus/NZ adapter on a Euro plug converter/adapter to US. The converter is TravelSmart by Franzus TS-1650, input 220-240 VAC, output 110-120VAC, for 0 - 1650Watts. Charger is Digipower with LI-Ion Battery BP-NKL1 - 7.4V 650mAh, AC adapter on Charger is AD-1350 with input of 120VAC. I'm thinking the converter is sending it 110VAC from the 220 outlets here in NZ, and it will only take 120 so that's why it's not working. I can't seem to find anyone to help, and Cajones isn't checking his email, so I'm reaching out to you photo techies for help. I'd hate to not be able to take any more photos on the 10 more days of this awesome trip. So please, let me know anything you can for me to get this charged!!! Thank you!!! Bungee jumping is fun. NZ is awesome. Peace http://www.exitshot.com
  16. ooh oooh, pick me! peace http://www.exitshot.com
  17. drug it up from page 8 or so... I'm in Rotorua, it's beautiful, and cold. Jet lag was rough... time running out on this kiosk... tkaing photos, battery charger won't work for Coolpix battery, so not sure what to do. it's a 120V rechargable. Got my adapter and converter workgin with everything else, at 110V... Any suggestions!?!?!?! help. need to take photos!!! bungee jumping is fun! peace http://www.exitshot.com
  18. thanks jasmin, got your pm. they said we'd be able to check email in the hotels, so i'll contact you one way or another. and, now, as of Friday my mom decides she want to come with us. She teaches these kids too, and is friends with the other chaperones... so she torments herself over the decisiont scrape up airline money and bunk with us, but somehow in a day she manages to get plane tickets and will be joining us. how cool is that. my mom rocks, so it will be fun! I will definately post photos, just got a 30Gb storage unit to save the photos... any other last minute suggestions on what to do or bring, send em. peace! http://www.exitshot.com
  19. Thanks Q-dog! Man, that one is nice! color screen. Cajones actually picked one up yesterday at Microcenter on sale, it's a MindStor pss-1830 like this except with 30Gigs. Cajones rocks! Only thing i wish it would have is that color screen so i can scan through the images when they are stored... watch out, i'll be back in two weeks with lots of photos... What do you all suggest, Shutterfly, Ofoto, or other website to post and order prints off of? I'm also planning on letting the kids order prints of the photos, so maybe i'll go with Shutterfly like you Q-dog... peace http://www.exitshot.com
  20. cajones and i already have a pair of the N'force runner slip-ons... everyone asks, "where did you find shoes to match?" my kids say they're ghetto. peace http://www.exitshot.com
  21. This is a very, very sad day. Roger is skydiving. I first met Roger at the Richmond boogie years ago, hanging out around the bonfire having a blast. I met someone who submersed his life in his passion, and was giving his tremendous passion to the sport and to each of us. I can't even imagine where skydiving would be without him. I was always happy to see Roger at the Richmond boogie and the many times I visited SDC. His love built that dropzone, and that dropzone built a world of love. I am so grateful to him, Rook and Missy for what they have shared with me in the times I've spent with them. My sincerest condolences go out to Rook, Missy and everyone who is close to Roger. His contributions to the sport are timeless. He is a humble hero. The Richmond locals gave a toast and heartfelt "HIM..." in tribute to Roger last night, one that I'm sure is echoing around the world. Thank you Roger. Thank you for spreading your love. peace http://www.exitshot.com
  22. i know they exist... i need to find one. going on 2 week trip, not bringing laptop but i want to be able to download photos to a storage drive... can anyone find one for me, preferably available at bestbuy or somewhere I can buy one before monday? i must not be entering the right search criteria, i can't seem to find one that works without another computer... thanks! peace http://www.exitshot.com

  24. this is definately the best way karma has ever come back to me... I'm going to New Zealand and Australia for 2 weeks with some of my kids from school. So any suggestions on little things to experience while I'm there are welcome. And if anyone wants to meet up, send me a pm or email. Our schedule is pretty set since it's with a guided tour, but there could be opportunities. here's the plans: 9-Jun-03 4:40 PM Cincinnati 9-Jun-03 6:14 PM Los Angeles 9-Jun-03 9:35 PM Los Angeles 11-Jun-03 5:10 AM Auckland 14-Jun-03 1:00 PM Auckland 14-Jun-03 2:30 PM Sydney 17-Jun-03 8:40 AM Sydney 17-Jun-03 11:40 AM Cairns 22-Jun-03 6:25 AM Cairns 22-Jun-03 9:15 AM Sydney 22-Jun-03 2:00 PM Sydney 22-Jun-03 10:25 AM Los Angeles 22-Jun-03 2:10 PM Los Angeles 22-Jun-03 9:23 PM Cincinnati I'm probably not bringing my rig since I'm kinda a chaperone on this trip for kids and someone else is paying my way, i doubt i'd be able to interupt the schedule and detour to a dz... as much as i'd like to... believe in karma. peace http://www.exitshot.com
  25. Excellent! I will also be presenting a seminar on "How to scratch a sleeping lion's balls with a hot fork - for beginners" No one has lasted long enough to hear the advanced course. can i preregister for the nig-noggery chuck? What do you recommend? I was thinking of downing a six-pack while driving between Phoenix and Casa Grande... As for your seminar sangiro, well, I can already scratch a sleeping lion's balls with a hot fork. I just did. he kinda likes it. if he wakes up though he grabs me and won't let go and wrestles with me... what's in the advance course, i need a new challenge? psssst... b^2, the courses look great. Cajones can offer an course on how to become a rodrigues brother, practice jumps and practice body shots included. we could both offer a course on driving to Eloy from Ohio through blizzard in a day, including how to pass the salt truck and driving in brail. I could also teach and intro course on being a video-whore and mega firewiring. yeah, so, good times. keep up the good work! peace http://www.exitshot.com
