  1. ...When you take a vertical photo, the camera knows it and rotates the image in the display screen on the back to be correctly viewed in the horizontal position. ...Front-mounted on my L-bracket, I can still get into my flash cardand my battery compartment. ...no matter what mode i'm in, it's ready to take a photo anytime you press the shutter release button. peace lew http://www.exitshot.com
  2. Come to Rantoul to find out why.... peace lew http://www.exitshot.com
  3. Dharma Trading Company is the only way to go. It is a chemical reaction, so follow the instruction to a T, don't let the dyes sit around very long when you make them, and try as best you can to maintain the right temperatures. As for cool designs, LOTS OF LITTLE FOLDS! the more folds you have the cooler the pattern will look. And LOTS OF DYE. Make sure the dye gets down in the cracks, most virgin tie-dyers end up with way more white then they intended. I'd recommend the Teeny Tiny Tie Dye kit from Dharma. peace lew http://www.exitshot.com

  7. I don't offer it, but we had a couple come out to do tandems for their anniversary, and only one person shooting 35 mm. I have a pc120, and you can grab still when you pause the video footage. We explained it all to them and told them the quality is really only good enough for a 5x7, nothing larger. They were fine with that so I went ahead and took about 20 stills from the video footage. They guy with the 35mm camera, well, he never got clost enough to his tandem to get any still anyway, so all he has is a doorshot i took from the video. Oh well. Here are a couple of the stills we took from the video. So then I mailed them a CD with the jpg's on it, and they were like "How do we get photos from this?"... bwwahahaa peace lew http://www.exitshot.com
  8. thanks, that's richmond from the back of the hangar. I used a 28-105 for all of those shots. I have a sigma 15 which i will use in the air. Shutterfly rocks. I can't wait to land from a tandem and hand them a card with the website on it... Ok, gots to run peace lew http://www.exitshot.com
  9. hey guys, sorry i don't log on as much as you all do. I replied to a PM about a week ago from JT and encouraged him to PM Cajones directly. Cajones hasn't been checking dz.com much recently, but I am telling him to get on now and give you all an update. I appreciate everyone patience. However, Lou, if you would like to ask for a refund or want to ask us what's up, I encourage you to just ask us. I can't keep up with talkback and missed some of the posts on this thread. We're not hiding or anything, you can email or PM me or Cajones, or even call us if you want, but if you have a refund request, don't expect us to find it on a post, please contact us directly. Cajones is PM'ing you right now. We're going to take the final cut to the duplicators this friday. Thanks, peace Lew ps, Sunshine, thank you for your perspective. I'll drop you another Smirnoff in Rantoul... http://www.exitshot.com

Taking photos with new camera... sharing the sky with Cajones... Spreading the love to lots of students... Priceless reactions watching the video... counting down the days to rantoul... and everything else... Low: well, nothing really, i'm kinda tired, and there's a lot to do to get ready for rantoul, but life is good. peace, spread the love lew http://www.exitshot.com

  19. great idea michael, i love landing in the spectator area on every sunset load, giving pull-up chords to the kids and signing autographs. It's an awesome way to end the day. and i'm sure there would be lots of interest in watching us pack... not to mention it would be nice and convinient. peace lew http://www.exitshot.com
  20. If you haven't seen this on the freefall.com vendors page, check it out... Jump with Norman Kent at the convention. Click on the info page link in the description and it lists prices... um... that's cool. His work is awesome. Am i allowed to say that I'd sell my camera biotch skills for way less than that. Just FYI, the Web-team and MartiniShotFilms will also being selling still photos, so find one of us camera people and let us shoot you. peace lew http://www.exitshot.com
  21. I was just going to post about this... I think i stalled the suit at one point, and my protrack was convinced I deployed at 8500. I know i deployed at 4000. so I'm not sure exactly how long my flight was. I think L&B should send us new pro-tracks that can handle birdmen. peace lew http://www.exitshot.com
  22. yeah, we were close to 130, but betsy is probably half the weight of kelly. No offense kelly... it was a fun jump, i'd wanted to try it. Talk about wiggly though, Kelly kept moving around and at one point slid down onto my legs and was only holding on by my laterals... Cajones tried to fly with us and he did, video isn't that great, cause we couldn't fly straight. i'm game for trying it again... i'd like to be the rider sometime too... peace lew http://www.exitshot.com
  23. Yes, I'd gladly accept a 6-pack, thanks for the offer!
