Personally, I'd only do it w/ experienced FF. You need a really solid 4-way base and a couple of good FF. Be very careful to stay clear of the handles when docking and transitioning on the base. My .02

Tash. I totally agree. I think it should be taught. When I was a student and it happened to me, I looked up and it looked weird, but my '4 Ss' were in tact. I used my own judgment but I would have preferred knowing about it before I experienced it.

That worked for me and many others I know because people (not all, but many) have a tendancy to lean more foreward(backslide) when they stand than 'straight'. People also do this w/o even realizing it. Max gave me that tip and it did me wonders. Different people have different quirks. I also find that when I freefly, I'm usually always using some degree of positive foreward motion. Your best bet would be to get a video of you to see what you need.

I've never heard of that before, here in the USA. When my dad did a tandem, he didn't need to have a medical evaluation. But I'm not sure.You never know nowadays.

I'd bring her out to the DZ to watch you and the others. She'll probably see other skydivers her age and older. That should solve her problem.
