No, Wrong one......arghhhh.......I was going to use this one later. This does go through all steps of the use of force continuum. This one was in Florida (i think). This is the edited version also, it doesn't include the actual stop, all the violations, and the officers explanation of these things PRIOR to taser use. There is a video of what I believe to be a perfect taser deployment. It occured in 2002 by the Ohio State Highway Patrol. I can't find it so far, I'm asking for help in posting it. It's a DUI stop with a guy driving a pick-up truck, he refuses to take the troopers "pussy-assed tests". He gets hit at least 4 times. IMHO it's the benchmark taser use video. If someone could find it (many of you are WAY more net savvy than me) and make it clicky, we could see and discuss the need for tasers. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"

Who said little, it was a huge mistake with many factors. A person died, but 12 people understood that is was made without malice. I could go into some of the factors, but many here aren't interested in anything factual. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"

Yep, I've got one in college, one in high school, and one in pre-school, yep, I'm a dumbass........ One spanked maybe twice, the other maybe 4-5 times, he's a hard head just like his dad. Like I said, Fine line, and nobody really knows where the line is, and it's a matter of opinion. But, make a law and all the officers discretion is taken away. Domestic violence is a perfect example. In many states if the cops show up and suspect domestic violence then someone (useally the male) is going to jail. That sucks. A law would also make every do-gooder, busy-body that thinks spanking is wrong call the cops at the drop of a hat. I've had these people call when they see a kid spanked in a store or in public. Geez, ya think I agree, but again smacking the shit out of your kid (not talking about you, just in general) isn't really discipline. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"

Many times these kids have other issues that affect why they become delinquent. With that said, parents that use spanking as the primary means of discipline are making a big mistake. I've always used a good swat only to make a point after all other means are exhausted, or the child is REALLY testing boundries. Absolutely A little bit of both doesn't hurt.... Relatively speaking, A (slightly) red ass or a well placed red hand print is not really an injury. Bruising, which normally occurs several hours or a day later is injury. It's a fine line, many social workers I deal with think ANY injury is abuse. It also depends on the situation and the families circumstances (other issues besides the corporal punishment). Beating is out of anger or spite and can cause injury. Spanking is used to correct improper behavior, and just hurts. It's not the cure all but it's a parents decision inside their own home. "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"

I don't think that would be effective at least on teenagers, they have that weird (lack of) sense impregnable force field around them. I think he'd just look up with that blank teenage stare and say..... "huh....what.......can I still have money to go to the movies anyway"..........? "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"

This is nothing new, just being tweaked a little. Everyone is reading a little too much into this. I've done several search warrants where the fire department found stuff during a fire or emergency. It's not common practice, but it does happen. Notice I said search warrants, when the fire is out the exigent (don't think that's spelled right) circumstance stops, and the warrant process begins. Most fireman don't want to be cops, and vice versa, however they are public employees with a duty to protect the public. With that said, everyone likes firemen, they don't do stuff to tarnish that reputation, they'd have to leave the firehouse to do that. What do firemen do; eat till they're sleepy, sleep till they're hungry............ "Just 'cause I'm simple, don't mean I'm stewpid!"

See above He is also a defense attorney, I've had these guys let their clients (or them) make absolute false statements about me or situations I've been involved in. That's lying.......... perjury......no wait, that's a defense, so that makes it okay. You don't like cops, I generally don't care for defense attorneys. To some it's all about making money.
