huh, I thought you were interested in learning more about it....turns out you do reiki yourself.... meanwhile you did reiki on a pregnant woman who then felt good enough to go skydiving.....(should pregnant women skydive? at what month should they stop? those type of questions I leave to you ladies to discuss on women's forum!) First off, you do not mention how much training in Reiki or experience in other healing methods you may have. So may I kindly state that energy therapies, no matter how seemingly 'mellow' they may be, should be done in small doses (not for hours)....to move the energy a little bit.....if at all....let their bodies do the rest of the healing. The same acupressure/acupuncture/healing points can heal or oppositely, move energy too fast or the wrong way. There are points in oriental medicine that work wonders, but are prohibited for pregnant women, for example. Further, a little goes a long way. For example, sometimes you see a photo of someone with many acupuncture needles inserted, like a pin cushion. A good acupuncturist can do better work with one or two needles in the right places if they understand the body's energy flow needs. Reiki is often a very effective healing modality. So is Healing Touch, Polarity Therapy, and whatever else the copyrighted name may be. All of these are variations of "laying on of hands", and the effects differ from person to person. The same hand motions/positions may not work on you when one person does them, but work really well when a different person tries the same on you (even when both are on the same reiki level for example, or the same background in any other therapy). That being said, a good part of whatever you were able to do for her was due to your good vibes as much or probably even more, than the reiki technique you used. Best wishes to you in your work to help others! marc

In Osaka Japan there was a restaurant with a large window to the kitchen so passers-by could watch them preparing and cooking eel. There was a barrel filled with LIVE eels. The cook would take one out, slam it down, impaling one end over a nail on the cutting board, and in one long slice, separate it into 2 pieces where it would then get dipped in the sweet sauce and tossed on the barbeque..... Now thats FRESH water eel! marc

so why couldn't you share the manufacturer's name? I don't get it... If I saw a canopy I liked, I would expect to get the manufacturer's name if I was interested in finding out more info for purchasing one..... ????

that's a cool website too..... thanks for sharing.... marc -
which is better windtunnel or jumping ?
marcandalysse replied to DOCsa's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
From what I understand, nationals teams are NOT allowed in the tunnel once the draw has been distributed. There are some dz.com posts on this from last year....you can look them up... I'm sure you will find the teams in the tunnel before then! marc
