one of the VP's at my work wanted to come out and do a Tandem. Being over 60 years old, we needed the note from his heart doc. So he went there and the heart doc sent him out for a bunch of xams and even some weird ones. One week later, doctor cleared him, by saying "I;ll give you the note since there is nothing wrong with you, but I would not encourage that you do it since you are not in optimal shape." He smokes and is shortwinded at times. He is currently starting to work out so that he can do it next year. Some doctors will clear you based on your health and not their feelings about skydiving. ...

yup moisture problems, I had that with my pc-9 and just bought a new setup cuz I was having too many occurences of that with my Pc-5. If it goes into moisture lock it wont allow you to load a tape once you poped it. ...

Although we don't see the paperwork for our students, if they are over 60 they are required to have their cardiologist clear them for the jump. Yes it sounds just like it is... they need a letter from their doctor to do this. ...

you mean to tell me that Lisa (Mouth) didnt get her SCR????? OMG... no that can't be, the fact that she didn't get poured on doesn't take away the fact that we will pour on her eventually to congratulate her on the succesfull SCR!!!!!! Skyfest rocked and so did all the people that showed up and shared. Had a blast with everyone from belly to freeflyers, superjumpers to 50 jumps and comming up fast, inflatable to real... I mean.... erhhh hah even with you turtle, I share the feeling as I go by inertia alone to keep me awake, but it was fun. cya ...

If you want a lower profile go for the TRV's they are more expensive than the HC's but they sit closer to the helmet and usually come with a 30 or a 37mm lens. If you want a sidemount I would say something along the line of a pc-105 which are slimmer and better suited for sidemounting or the pc-109, the only drawback of that one is the 25mm lens. ...

So you have a pc105 but you are looking to buy a pc1, right? well the pc105 is smaller than the pc-1, they both have image stabilizers and they will be as shaky as you and your helmet. Buy several batteries and edit with the charger power. ...
