i personally would reccomend a voodoo (or talon FS) just because thats what i jump and because sandy and goose taught me pretty much everything i know. either way you (probably) wont be dissapointed with whatever rig you choose. javelins are everywhere and everyone knows how to pack them. Infinities are awesome and the reserves are so noice to pack wings are comfy and everything that the javelin should be Vectors are bulletproof but some feel like a brick (plus the new skyhook) mirage, welll im pleading the fifth either way, check out all the different kinds and decide what YOU want, not somebody else

hey, kristalison i dunno bout you but id be kinda pissed to find out that i was sold somethin that wasnt what was advertised, obviously its not a big deal since its just a smidge smaller and your not loading it heavily (at least not like my fat ass would ) but you should still make sure the person that you bought it from knows that they need to READ WHATS ON THE LABEL!!! as so has been pounded into my head. lemme know if you need a canopy to jump in the meantime and lemme know when you get it back and ill show you how to hook it back up

so i was in eloy for most of november getting my riggers ticket! and jumping(freezing) my ass off! so wtf did i miss?

i have a question which i dont think has been asked before (didnt read every post on the thread) your so concerned about someone else giving you a gearcheck on the plane, but did YOU give yourself a gear check (main pin, reserve pin, main,cutaway,reserve handles, cheststrap, legs straps) before you left the plane?? i see many jumpers with around my same jump numbers not doing gear checks in the plane, some not even doing handles checks. i have to admit i was guilty of this too, until i looked around and realized that the REALLY experienced people (instructors, world class 4-way teams, badass freeflyers)either check their shit, or have someone ese do it for them now i check: before i put my rig on, before i get on the plane, 2 minutes prior, (and if i at anytime brush against anything after then) and i do a handles check before i climb out. ive also recently added video to my list of things to do and i STILL find enough time and space to do all of the necessary checks (my rig ALWAYS comes first!) attitudes like the one your displaying here suck, they will either get you nowhere fast, or dead really fast!
