I'm 99% sure it is the law in IL... just no one seems to bother. I actually think it's pretty much all accross teh country by this time. I grew up w/ truck driving partents & they taught me to always give a lane, but it's not always possible. Not till I had to change a tire on the same side as traffic flying by on the innerstate did I realize the value of space or slower speeds. There is no can't. Only lack of knowledge or fear. here in Chicago it's not much better. 25 is the high today & at night it's below 0 (that is ferenhite ). I grew up in Bradenton FL & thougth it got FREEZING there. True, it does get cold, I already had a jacket & other winter wear when I moved out of FL. Yes, other nicer places; the cold isn't so biting. However, for those of us that've been in the 60's for highs since Oct.... there's no pitty!! If I go to FL in the winter & it's 50, I'm in shorts - that's f'in hot to me that time of year. So sad for you, boo-hoo... go put on your running back gloves & a full jumpsuit. I've just broke out my double layer gloves, balaclava, long underwear, silk underwear & sweats to go under my normal clothes to go under my jumpsuit. I'm sorry for you, but don't expect pitty. yup, what turtlespeed said.. In fact I thought it was law long before 9/03. Perhaps TX was just slower putting it into effect. sucks, but I guess it's for the grater good. then again i think there should be NO SPEED LIMITS anywhere (execpt strictly residential streets). Hm, interesting concept - grey market. Hadn't thought o' it. Or on servicability. I don't go through cameras @ all. This'll be my fist one in years. Typically, a 35mm roll would cover 4 years! That's why I don't want to spend a load. But now I'm sick of buying disposable & taking it to be developed & paying to have it put on CD just so I can download it. I haven't worn a watch for 5 years, my parents gave me 3 for x-mas. I told my mom how I hate wearing biking gloves, but my hands hurt - she bought me biking gloves. I've gotten the dance of intamacy how to find true love, also a book on what to do when your partner says they don't love you anymore - from my mom, so I could know what she's going through "just tell me for crist's sake!!" I never know what to say I want. I buy everything I want. The only stuff I havn't bought that I want is over $300. I'm pretty sure I'm not getting any of those things. This year my mom said they already have my gifts in mind & none of them are skydiving related - WHAT?!?!?! WTF would they be getting me then? Money? There is no can't. Only lack of knowledge or fear. Typically this is true. However, here in the US our market is very limited on some digital/electronic equipment. Going overseas & seeing all the other brands that work wonderfully if not better than ours makes me wonder bout sticking to a well known-over priced brand popular here just cause it's popular here. We may think that we rule the world here in the US, but in this arena, we are def not necessarily #1. I know the good cameras here in the US, for 2 - 3X the cost of other brands. Thank you Paige, but I don't need those responses. Perhaps I should have waited & posted this when Pacific residents start to wake up. There is no can't. Only lack of knowledge or fear. So, looking to buy a digi cam. I know the good brands here in the US; but am willing to look outside. (there's excelent stuff other places) So there's the Tekxon brand. Everything seems to be in Chinese or from Australia. Tried Google & Yahoo looking for a review - NOTHING (at least in english anyway). anyone heard of this brand? Have any comments? I've only heard of fingers.. don't know that I want wine w/ legs or feathers. Petite (or regular) Shiraz, Chianti, and a new fav... blend of Merlot/Cabrinet (60/40%). Nope, no sick here... just gotta make sure beer is last & taquila just seems to settle best w/ beer- yummy! Only if there's more that 4 taquila shots is there any real danger - that or if Sambuca or some other really heavy shot was had @ the start of the night. Those just don't go over well when they get churned up by beer. Not the reason, but it's nice to be able to 'hang' w/ tha boys. There is no can't. Only lack of knowledge or fear. So what kinda girl are you if you drink all of them in one night? 1. A shot to start off w/ your 2. first mixed drink of choice (repeat as necessary) 3. A glass or 2 of wine to get a nice fruity taste on your tongue & a happy buzz quickly 4. A frozen drink to help cool your face off from all the wine 5. A few beers to end the night on a lower alcohol content (but 6. throw in a taquila shot just before the last 2) don't know bout white zin... never had the stuff. There is no can't. Hey there lady... thought you'd bring some light to the subject. I replied in e-mailed to SO1... cleared it up. Said I thought you had told him, but I wanted to make sure. Then I asked SO2 if he knew SO1, he said yes, I asked if he knew I had dated him, he said yes, why? I said, just wanted to make sure he knew for when SO1 came back. To which SO2 replied, can't wait to pick on SO1, ha, ha - I stole your girlfriend. It'll be an interesting year.
