Cal City was great! I worked 72 and 96 hour shifts out in Ridgecrest for a few years and it was nice to stop off and get a jump in on the way home -

Best as far as, well, theres quite a few actually that fit that.. ZZ Top at the Cow Palace early 80's. The laser light show and really really really good shrooms Stevie Ray Vaughn and Joe Cocker in Mountain View There was that whole Skynyrd, Frampton Santana thing in Oakland in the 70's.. Those were memorable. Yeah, those security gates do a great job of keeping the thieves out. And they also do a great job of inconveniencing the legitimate residents who have to put up with their malfunctions all the time. You will. And you will. You have to be there for the next one, that sadly will need you also. You've got to handle it "correctly", so you can continue being of service. In a lot of cases you may be first on scene so what you do and say can honestly be a big help in hanging these fuckin assholes that do this shit.
