Yes, last year but late in the season. Storm came through a week beforehand and at the top of the "cables" we turned around. Ice, no cramp-ons, made for a bad thing. Three of us and it was our first attempt so why push it Thanks for the reminder. Like I said it was my first so it really was a learning experience as far as gear especially. Im going to hit the site and sign up myself. Just curious, when you going? A lot of folks make it a 1 day gig. Its a pretty busy trail peak season weekends. A co-worker went to Belize and I told him about the boogie and instructed him to get me a t-shirt He told me there was an extremely low turn out, talked about it on the local (Belize) news, maybe the last year?? Ok ok so Im still learning this mountain home shit. Snow, snow melting, drips on satelite dish, freezes, lose signal I dont imagine its gonna melt too fast in the morning (no sun til after 10:00 am). Sorry, but to me, this is a cop out. Admit you have a problem and need help, but don't ever think you're powerless. No one is truly powerless unless they give up. Call it what ya want. The reason Im not gonna drink today is because if I do, all bets are off, and the choice is no longer mine. Period. I was a roofer for 20 years, I loved it. I pretty much made what I wanted, worked for big companies, small companies, after those first couple years I didnt have someone telling me what to do, just which jobs were mine and pretty much left alone. I loved it. Theres a lot of personal satisfaction doing hard physical work for some and I guess Im one of those. Now when I didnt like doing it anymore, I didnt. I love what Im doing now and it pretty much qualifies as another shitty job, but, like I said, I enjoy it, I really do. ------------------------------------------ The Dude Abides. -

So this one time.. In Sausalito Ca., there was a ban on construction on saturdays and sundays in some areas. Its saturday morning, no one on the crew wanted to be working (roofing) so we start drinking (yeah I know I know) and get this great idea to call and complain About 30 minutes later we see a cop car pull up to the project down the hill, then the next one, and so on until he gets to us and tells us someone complained and we had to pack it up and leave. I can still to this day imagine how many workers, contractors etc. would have kicked our drunken asses up and down the street all day long if they new it was us Stupid drunk roofers ------------------------------------------ The Dude Abides. -
