Just want to pitch in and confirm. You are cute moody girl! There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Well, finished at work...and its been dark for an hour allready. Today sunrise 9:05, sunset: 15:13. That sucks... Anyway, this is the season for snowboarding
-
Only jumped from one plane so far... But it's an antanov 28 10 minutes to altitude with tailgate
-
I'm working on that one... Hey it's blue skies here today

That would be nr. 55 :) There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

I put out some photos from my home dropzone Østre Æra this summer. http://www.snart.com/album/ara2002/ Some good, some bad...maybe you even can spot a picture of me just landed from my first jump

I didn't ask PISA to install the larger slider when I ordered my Hornet 170, but I guess it comes standard now (?). Anyway, the slider looks HUGE compared to other canopies I've packed. Good thing its collapsable.

ok not in the traditional format, but my weekend has been kinda ok...some ups/some downs...

Snow, snow, snow. Windy and yuck.... only 6 hours of daylite each day, and that's when I'm at work. Haven't seen blue skies for over a month.... Please come spring soon, I'm going crazy There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

And it all comes down to the fact that it's MONDAY....!!!! There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Hadn't hear or thought about this before I read the PD hard openings whitepaper. They refer to a shock cord. Is that a kill-line or a bungy??? I just assumed it was. I can see how worn F111 can affect a bungee, but when thinking about it I really don't se how that could cause problems for a kill line. There are only 10 types of people in the world. Here is the recomendation from PISA. Seems like it's generally true that F111 PC will give better openings. However, a kill line will not create any drag after opening, and increase the speed and performance of the canopy after opening. As my current pc is within the recomendations, I will continue using it for a while. After a while, I will try a kill-line to enjoy a little more speed. Is there anyone who sells F111 kill-line PC's? The PD whitepaper on openings strongly warns about this as dangerous since they can go out of calibration. There are only 10 types of people in the world. Not sure how much use people would have for this, but what about a database in which people could add type of container and canopy and how it fits (hard but doable/tight/perfect/loose/very loose) Just an idea, but maybe a little overkill for such small problems anyway...when I think about it...maybe we don't need it anyway... I just like to remember when I packed it last. If my last pack was a fast and sloppy one because I was in a hurry to get home from the dz, then I might want to repack.... There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Probably wont help you much, but my Vector II v2-2 holds a pd190, clipper 190 and hornet 170. All are a tight fit. I guess a 150 would be a perfect fit. There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Why not? As long as it's found airworthy by a rigger and not got any rips or tears it should work fine. My bag is just fine, why would I need a new bag? Maybe I should have ordered a new PC with the canopy, but I really hadn't given that area so much thought when I ordered it. Also I was a bit unsure on what type of bridle I should get for my vector2 (it has some bits of velcro on it). And I figured it was no rush. btw, my wingloading on the my new canopy will be about 1.14 There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

If you haven't read it allready. PD has a good paper about pack volumes and ways to calculate it. http://www.performancedesigns.com/docs/packvol.pdf Maybe RWS can give you some answers to. My Hornet 170 with microlines has almost the same packing volume as my old Clipper 190 (F111) had. Of course I've only tried to pack my hornet once, so I might be able to make it a little smaller with training. :) The best way of finding out is to demo some canopies, or maybe just borrow and try to pack. Will give you some refrence. There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

I've did some reading about pc and openings and it was explained that a zp pc would pull harder, almost stopping the canopy untill you reach line strech and you accelarate the canopy again. http://www.performancedesigns.com/docs/hrdopn.pdf I think I first will stay with my old pc. The improvement from my old clipper will be so significant so that I can save the joy of even better flying characteristics to later. Also I will probably need some time to get to know my canopy and how to pack those greate openings. I will innocently give my girlfriend the direction to skydive shop and tell her that i want a pc for my birthday :) hmm....now mini risers or regular... Sounds like a great safty improvement to skyballing. However, since it is a mechanical device, it can fail. We don't trust the cypress to save us either. Exercising the same precautions as with a regular skyball will be a good idea I think. One question: Will the ball break if you don't catch it, so that you have to buy a new one? (assuming the unlike event that you actually find it...) Some skyboards are equipt with sirens to make them easy to find. Maybe that would be possible improvement too? Best spent money: New kill line pilote, or new velcroless risers with dive loops? What size should I go for if I buy a new pc? Just some of my thoughts: Ok, so now I got myself a new canopy (hornet 170) Will it be ok to still use my old pc. It's a plain and old f111. I suspect it will have less pull force than a new zp killine pc, and thus giving me better more consistent openings (well as long as it doesn't rip an and give me a baglock). The brand new lines are quite slippery, less pull force from the pc will reduce the possibility of a line dump. The advantages with new risers with dive loops are quite obvious... this one: http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?do=post_attachment;postatt_id=1239; I'll might try to post some real pictures of it lying all over my livingroom tomorrow... There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

I think the norwegian flag actually is protected by law. If you have a flag pole, you are required to put up a flag at national holliday. The flag must not hang out later than 9pm and a bunch of other rules. Some people would object to such laws because of freedom of speech. I really don't care that much, but think it's nice to respect the flag.

Did that many years ago and loved it. Would be interesting to try now that I have begun skydiving. It felt really weird. My body believed it was going to die, while the my concious part of my brain did not. It felt safer than the first skydive because I were physically attache with a bunge cord, while skydiving leave you uup in the thin air. I had some doubts if flying parachutes really were safe. I figured it wasn't and just had to try There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

hmmm.. When it comes to emergency procedures for this guy is it: "don't give up until all handles are pulled AND all the buttons are pushed... " There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.
