I recently found this great idea on the net. I'll try to get one of these up on my site to.
-
Best x-mas present I've gotten so far this year There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

I'll have some freefly mods done on my vector II soon (january maybe). When I do I'll post some pictures with what's done. I know I shall get a mod on the main closing tab and added bridle protection. Considdering to buy velcroless toggles. More because they wont wear so much on my brakelines as velcro ones rather than freefly friendlyness... There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

You might call it a skydiving scene There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

On a normal skydive you loose altitude awareness for some reason (just unaware, dytter/alti failure, act of god, whatever) and WHAM, at 750' you're cypress fires and saves your life. Would you quit skydinving??? There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

I also have a Vector 2. I asked around about this and nobody thought it could be done (or were practically). However, it's not that expenxive to replace the velcro. It's also some other mods available to make the rigg more frefly friendly. Better bridle protection etc, etc. Here in Norway many people call it a "Jones-mod", but I think that's a local expression. I've seen many people freeflying with vector 2 with these mods, and not heard of any problems with it. However, I can't give any guaranties of any kind. Best solution would be to get a new container if you got the $$$... There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

What can I say...it rocks

How much does it REALLY cost to SKYDIVE?

Sky Design Collection are really good suits

Easy: Bounce in just infront of the beer line at terminal. Brush the dust off your jumpsuit. Mutter something about "damn, forgott my rigg again" Pick up your rigg and get on the next load... Will impress everybody There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

And I almost forgot. Check the serial number up against this list before buying: http://www.pia.com/SSK/cypres/missing.htm These are cypresses that are reported stolen, missing or unairworthy for some reason. You don't want to buy one of these! There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Here a tool for you: http://www.poxon.org/Craig/Skydive/Tools/CypresValuer.asp There are some different models too. Student, expert and tandem. You also want to check out if you rigg needs a one or two pin cutter. (Can be purcased seperately I believe). Your rigger can tell you this, and make sure your rigg is cypress ready if you're unsure. There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

This thread has been done before (do a search), but what the heck. Let's do it again. Anyway, I'm 26 for a couple of months more. There's been some suggestion in the suggestion forum about including age in the profiles, but no go yet.... There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

Hi Everybody seems to have a number of some kind these days, so I created my own numbers for sky divers who also practise martial art. I know I'm not alone

Aaargh, don't remind me.... I'm going to quit smoking 1. june 2003, and not smoke again until after my black belt graduation... Anyway sex vs cigaretts. If sex alone is also in the definition of sex I'd say it's about equally hard... There are only 10 types of people in the world. Those who understand binary, and those who don't.

I've found a couple of old friends again on the net. Searching for their names and other details on google, altavista, alltheweb usually turns up something. And it's free

One reserve ride on my firelite 176 (loaded at about 1.1). Containerlock on the 4th jump on my new vector with a clipper 190. Downwind landing in a little tight spot. Not a pretty landing, but I survived without injuries. Did a binary flare way to late and a aerobatic PLF. I believe my flaring skills have improved a lot since then. What can I say, I never loved my reserve as much as when I saw that blue canopy over my head.
